It is completely inexcusable that any officer would sort through baggage with her bare hands, and then yell "eww" when she finds something nasty. She has clearly not had sufficient training.

I literally came to comment on the same thing. There was also the person drilling with bare hands and no gloves. You don't want any of those drugs on bare skin. You figure they'd always just have gloves on.
Deeply shocked that almost none of these officers are wearing gloves OR masks even when there are clearly drugs present! Even if fentanyl isn't a problem in the UK yet it still seems foolhardy.

Someone told me that the flight crew watch for suspicious behaviour by passengers. If, for example, they see someone on a long haul flight doesn't eat or drink anything on the flight they will get a message to border control to target that person.

2017 Manila Phillipines a man in uniform asked put cicaine in my bag to train a dog just like happened Here.. in my mind entrapment lept to my mind and years inside a Pinay jail loomed up large. I loudly said i would nit carry his drugs for him for any reason . Loud i wanted my fellow passengers to know i was being set up. Took a photo of him and reported him to immigration then customs then the police after customs.
I feel queasy niw because he might have been legit.

I feel a lot of sympathy for most drug mules. Generally they're just desperate and sometimes victims of trafficking or blackmail. It's the cartels pulling the strings who are the real predators.

I can't stand the feeling of rubber/poly. I even used ponytail holders instead of elastic bands for my work at the office. I will do anything barehanded, I can always wash my hands. The thing I worry about is sharps! I would be wearing puncture-proof gloves before digging around in there.
