An exciting rendition! Everyone is both playing together and improvising a little, true to the style of the period. This is a performance that literally breaths life to this piece. Thanks for the upload!
Un perfetto esempio di una composizione di un gagliardo e lezioso compositore, scritto per piacere ad un auditorio di nobili, non a caso dedicato nientemeno che all' imperatrice Maria Teresa!
@@jesusmanriquezsantana1590 Honestly yes, Mozart was simply the superior composer, his music is more "dense", more subtle and goes through more moods (albeit more subtlety), while also displaying better handling of form, structure etc... But the distinct Beethoven quality of this quintet still makes it an extraordinary piece of music and comparing both is a bit futile.
Its silly to say Mozart is “better” than Beethoven. They are different. Could Mozart have possibly written The Eroica? The string quartets? Late piano sonatas? Not in a million years…. Beethoven had LOTS of superior traits to Mozart. And visa versa.
@@TRIHEDRAL I mean listen to the route Mozart was going in his later years, he would've definitely gotten more Beethovenian in his later years had he lived longer 🤷🏼
Well, no, but he would probably have broken free, or grown above, his "young immortal" perfection that seemed eternal and not to be improved upon, dramatically at least. His darkness was only beginning to really mature a few big works before the end. Maybe the Requiem.

One of my favorite pieces of wind chamber music! It's sad that Beethoven didn't keep writing for these ensembles later in his career.
I thought most of the wind chamber music was earlier, too. But listen to the Octet, op. 103. Just discovered it today, December 16, 2023. 😊
The Octet is great, but is also an early work with a misleadingly high opus number.@@manthasagittarius1
of course it's in E flat major, what did I expect
13:51 2nd movement
21:18 3rd movement
hehe

Maria Teresa morì nel 1780. Allora Beethoven ha scritto l'Op.16 "in memoria" dell'Imperatrice!!!! O no?
Beethoven tomo como modelo el quinteto de Mozart kv.452
El de Mozart me parece superior
@@jesusmanriquezsantana1590 Y lo es bro
Opus 16 is very early in Beethoven's carrier. Imagine you are composing sth like this in your youth...
Yes
Compare to Mozart's piano quintet K452.
Mozart is Better

The piano sounds a little off, but everything else is nice.
Sorry, now i read is a forte piano.
@@louisvalencia5244 I can definitely tell how that would sound a little off-putting if you thought it was a modern piano.
