The sheer amount of Toppat leaders that have existed just about tells you that the Toppat Clan has been running for a very long time. I mean, Sir Wilford *IV*. This means that there have been 3 Sir Wilfords before him, which takes quite a long time.

Yeah, but i think that the clan was formed betwnen 1875 and 1912, and the proof is that the guy with tiple hats is using an old cigar, tipical of the 19th century
For me the proof is the cigar, not the name, Wilford looksnto be an England Noble, and noble usualy name their son as the same name, and then the fsther passes away, the sin assumes theur fsther name(examole, Dom Pedro II from Brazil is son of Dom Pedro I from Brazil)

Actually, think about Terrence Suave. He's like henry. he was overthrown for poor leadership and a reckless nature, I.E getting caught in the complex. It really justifies Reginald's actions.
On top of that, since Reginald's bio says "He wears the hat of the previously dethroned leader", his second hat is confirmed to be Terrence's- which he gave to Henry in RPE. Perhaps that shows his opinion of Henry, if he only gave him the hat of the previous failure of a leader.

Not actually....
In the first 3 (or 4, counting BTB) episodes, Henry is always solo, in any path. In ItA, at RPE, Henry almost took down the Toppat Clan, but joined. In the credits scene, you can see Henry explaining his plans, and no one visibly disaagreeing with him,meaning he had good leadership.
I don't know why Reggie dropped Henry, but "being a bad leader" its not a valid one
