An old guy? Nah bro, a lot of the legends are near or just recently past by the 50 mark! I guess it has to do with the fact that my dad, who is 50 years old, introduced me to a lotta shit he grew up with, and I'm only 15, and I grew up with a lot of his shit too, so I guess anything from the whole early millenial/Generation X/late Boomer era just don't seem that old to me. Plus, he doesn't have a grey hair on his body, nor does he look 50, so I just naturally have a feel-young taste in a lot of that. But I also listen to a lot of new era shit that gets me hyped because some of these younger bros genuinely love what they do and it's super fun when a lot of them don't gotta contract or some dumb obligation! Of course problems exist in every generation, but this is just the surface of the best shit a kid can find in the creative space that certainly exists when you look for it!
