I was born in Adams County (the western most part of these mountains) and I was always out in the holler at my grandparent's cabin, down by the train tressel . And I recall 4 or 5 times that Id be alone and suddenly I could FEEL SOMETHING was watching me. My mom always warned me about rabid foxes but this made the hair on my neck stand up. Even today, safe in my urban bedroom 40 years later, I can still feel that weirded out knot in my gutt and I just knew if i turned around and saw what it was, my 10 y/o heart would stop & Id die! Id run like hell back up to the cabin
Years later I asked my uncle who had about 100 acres of land about 15 miles east of there (off SteemFurnace Rd) if he ever saw anything while out hunting. He hunted alot. He said no, but he could sometimes feel someone following him. Or he'd hear what sounded like a horse nickering which was strange cause there were no horse trails back there & before my uncle was a Christian, youd have to be out of your ever loving mind to be trespassing on HIS property or stalking him while he was armed.
Then after seeing enough of these videos, Ive heard stories of Squatch type creatures sounding like a horse nickering.
