My only suggestion comes from my friend who said that you should have tested out a few more opening hands because you opened a lonefire each time, but it was a long video so it made sense. Nice video! I've been looking for a decently priced Deck that actually interests me, unlike HEROs (>.>), and well I'm sorry to say but Ritual Beasts doesn't fascinate me quite as much as Sylvans do. Regarding people complaining about you opening Lonefire each time, well it's at 3, folks :3, and I thought maybe you could make some replays and a Deck Profile. This video helps me understand the Deck pretty well. Some questions I also do have are the matchups, especially Qliphort, and also, dealing with the odd Vanity's or Lose 1 Turn.

not sure if you have changed your deck list by now, but I recommend dropping dandy and even maybe bulb. You're going for soft pluses here where better cards can produce stronger advantages. Main deck mistakes for instance.
Peter Wu That's just awful for Synchro plays, if I was tournament during this format where I knew there'd be a lot of Nekroz and such I'd maybe main mistake, but this is a Sylvan deck profile not an anti-meta Sylvan deck profile that does non-linear plays, Dandy and Bulb are key components. Honestly, if you've seen any of the footage of me playing the deck you'd see that. Mistake in the main would clog like a mother

What do you do when you don't open with the Lonefire? Is it mandatory to pull off such big plays or can you still establish strong boards without it? I've just been interested in Sylvans for a while and would like to learn as much as possible
It's not mandatory to open Lonefire Blossom, but it certainly helps lol and it's at 3, so odds are pretty good. You can also open Rose lover + Mount Sylvania + Any big tree, and you'll be able to make a Felgrand/Orea/AnyRank8or7 (depending on the circumstance). Also, opening Sylvan Charity kinda ensures you'll draw Lonefire or have another combo.
Daft Punk personnaly i dont like to go lonefire, into lonefire into lonefire with Sylvans (except if i got the soul charge first turn obviously). Yeah i know, you can deck thin with that but i prefer keeping them in my deck. Plus it's a nice topdeck and you can draw them pretty easily with charity.
Dubbleg29 and don't do so, also helps when u have X sylvan and u excavate, one more plant to hit. (I know excavate a Lonefire sucks, but is still better than excavate a spell :S).
You can try adding 2 yuki usagi for a bit of coverage and rank up magic 7th one also works really good with sylvan charity. I main Sylvans so maybe you can try to see how that works out. Is there any way u can share your opinion on my build?
I really like what you're saying about the Extra deck, that it should go bigger considering how many things we have. Especially for archetypes that requires to have a large amount of Extra deck cards, I got into Fluffals this week and not running 3 Tigers made me lost so many games... But after that you need 2 Wolves for the OTK potential, 2 Sheeps because the opponent might have an answer for 1. That's already 7 cards, and there are 4 others fusion cards in the archetype. I think it would be nice if the Extra deck goes up to, let's say 20 cards, but keeps the limit of 15 cards of the same category. So that you can't just go 20 Xyz. The video is nice, but I think it would've been better if you didn't opened 3 times with Lonefire. Doesn't that make it way easier ?

It's my other favorite deck, and I hate just having my deck shut down by Darklaw + helmet. I generally side in dark holes and am considering book of eclipse as well. Also, what should I side out for them? So many cards seem essential to the deck. My deck is pretty close to yours.
Silent Paladin Mistake is really nice, as well as removal as you've stated. Honestly I've never had too many issues with Masked Heroes but I can see why it's a problem with Dark Law, usually I can summon something to stick over it

Ben Slutsky There are ways to open well without Sylvania, Charity or Lonefire but not in this build tbh. I like the deck though, it is cute. However Extra deck space is a problem and consistency on a competitive level. There aren't many people playing fun decks these days, that's why comparing to competitive level is relevant. Rank 8 build > better than Synchro build btw. Alsei, Dark Matter (via Tachyon) & Felgrand can beat any monster. Whether it's a Shooting Star, Leo, Beelze, Construct etc. Rank 8 toolbox is the best.
I see you're running flowerbot which is something you did not do in your previous build. Is it possible to get an updated deck profile for this ban list? (Even though this format is probably going to be the same since the ban list sucked -_-)
Doppio sylvans are pretty simple. it's the extra deck that can be complicated. most sylvans on the field excavate and when sent deck to grave have a effect that allows spamming or removal.
Honestly I haven't played any games against those heavy floodgate decks, this has an awful match up against those to be fair, have to side in lots of removal :/
Opponent first turn Ophion, Winda, Vanity, Djinn lock (djinn was alive when this video was uploaded) etc. Your only out to Winda is lonefire. Sylvan really must go first against competitive decks. I like your deck but it is not competitive. You happened to open decent to somewhat broken every time. And good for you, but what if you open without lonefire, sylvania or charity. And that scenario did not happen in this video. As an analyst I calculated that the chance of not opening Lonefire, Sylvania or Charity is 25.8% Even if you open with one or multiples, too many cards (like traps) are anti-Sylvan. I seriously play swords of conceiling light (I dont like Eclipse) & Santa Claws to prevent my opponent from locking me down and make the deck somewhat competitive.
u opened up with lonefire 3 hands, not totally convincing. i have build my sylvan abuse 3 RODAs to search rose paladyin then to search hermetree, then i run trade ins to get rid of it for draw power so u can miracle ferterlizer it. i also run rose archer, also searchable by 3RODAS, the card is sooooooooo nice. i think my build is faster and more consistent. enjoying it while RODA at 3. if u want decklist give me a reply
My build doesn't run the ROTA/RosePaladin/RoseArcher engine, mostly b/c it would make my excavates REALLY inconsistent (it did when I tried it out). Rose Archer is an interesting card, and is the only one of those I could really see running at this point (b/c the deck plays very little defense). Oh, and about the TradeIn engine.. Again, it would clog my excavations.. But more than that, I don't need more draw power, I literally (almost literally) have 3 Graceful Charities to play with (Sylvan Charity). And lastly, if you're running this engine, you must not be running Rose Lover, b/c as you said, you'll be discarding the Sylvan Hermitrees, and as such, Rose Lover would kinda be useless, no? Just my 2 cents.

When you chain multiple excavations is it in a specific order that the effects activate?
Depends on the exact chain as well as i dont think theres something that can meet that condition within sylvans unless i dont know

My Sylvan deck cost me about 170-200$ with xyz and syncros so prob a bit cheaper than that since they went down in price a lot

Flowerbot is actually really nice, ever notice that (in almost every hand) you have at least 1 card you don't want.. Flowerbot takes care of that.

Honestly I haven't played any games against those heavy floodgate decks, this has an awful match up against those to be fair, have to side in lots of removal :/

Sylvan really must go first against competitive decks.

And good for you, but what if you open without lonefire, sylvania or charity.
And that scenario did not happen in this video. As an analyst I calculated that the chance of not opening Lonefire, Sylvania or Charity is 25.8%
Even if you open with one or multiples, too many cards (like traps) are anti-Sylvan.
I seriously play swords of conceiling light (I dont like Eclipse) & Santa Claws to prevent my opponent from locking me down and make the deck somewhat competitive.

u opened up with lonefire 3 hands, not totally convincing. i have build my sylvan abuse 3 RODAs to search rose paladyin then to search hermetree, then i run trade ins to get rid of it for draw power so u can miracle ferterlizer it. i also run rose archer, also searchable by 3RODAS, the card is sooooooooo nice. i think my build is faster and more consistent. enjoying it while RODA at 3. if u want decklist give me a reply
My build doesn't run the ROTA/RosePaladin/RoseArcher engine, mostly b/c it would make my excavates REALLY inconsistent (it did when I tried it out). Rose Archer is an interesting card, and is the only one of those I could really see running at this point (b/c the deck plays very little defense).
Oh, and about the TradeIn engine.. Again, it would clog my excavations.. But more than that, I don't need more draw power, I literally (almost literally) have 3 Graceful Charities to play with (Sylvan Charity). And lastly, if you're running this engine, you must not be running Rose Lover, b/c as you said, you'll be discarding the Sylvan Hermitrees, and as such, Rose Lover would kinda be useless, no?
