Unfortunately, we are living in a time when there is a great deal of what I like to call "prophetic sensationalism" going on. People are becoming more and more enamored with what they hear, whether it's about a possible rapture date, or what too many perceive as "signs" in the sky, or even what WAY too many call "high watch times.
Britt and I sit down to talk about yet another one of these events that is coming up on April 8th...yes, you guessed it, the total solar eclipse that will take place in the United States. Although we are talking about this specific date, the principle of making sure that we avoid the trap of giving in to prophetic sensationalism applies to events that extend far beyond April 8th. There is no "sign" (no pun intended) that this unbiblical practice will be on the wane. So staying grounded and rooted in the Word of God is paramount!
Our hope is that this podcast will encourage each of us to have our eyes on Jesus in all things and to see EVERYTHING through the lens of Scripture. Enjoy this heavenly spectacle that is coming on April 8th! Blessings!

Imagine the amount of time the scammer, the top comment, takes every day to target the gullible. Always reported but never removed.
I think they ban the reported posts but have not been able to find where it comes from.
You hit the nail on the the disorientation of the churches. Which is why I’m extremely cautious about joining churches. I read my Bible daily and have been baptized. I watch Britt and other great Christians like Watchman River, Pastor Cary Schmidt and Amir Tsarfati. I’m very selective in who I listen to. It has helped me so much in my Christian walk. It’s important to surround ourselves with true authentic Christian brothers and sisters who are true believers of the biblical teachings. Such a great video! Britt is awesome.
I understand not hyping things I think maybe on it, but can someone explain why only for a 6min event that military is called out, comet, earthquake, and CERN . I just think it's interesting that all things going on at once
Good question Catherine. God said that the sun moon and stars would be used for signs also. I haven't watched this whole video but I kniw thus eclipse is a sign. I believe it is a warning from God about the way this nation is headed...away from God. America's cup of iniquity if overflowing with sin and now, our govt has just abandoned Israel. Gods judgement (or chastisement) is coming upon this nation. We are the only generation to see all this Bible prophecy come to pass. We want to divide Israel and God said in His word if we do, He will divide our land. Earthquake????

Hello. Guard and law enforcement are extra duty due to potential large gathering issues that occur at every overly populated event (think traffic snarls or God forbid mass casualty event), in addition to threat of Iranian attacks against U.S. due to Israel attack earlier this week.

I’m not caught up in any hype but I don’t believe much in coincidence. My prayer is that some nefarious people don’t decide to target the millions of people that are gathering to watch this. Most RUclips videos now are nothing but sensationalism. It's always "the Lord told me". Guess what. Every day I open His Word, He tells me too. I don't need some arrogant tuber trying to get clicks and likes.

I'm disappointed! I believe definitely that it's no coincidence that there's 7 Ninevah's in the path of totality, also the name Jonah, and Rapture! Ninevah and Jonah was about warning the people of God's coming judgement. Which would totally fit in with now! Why can't you see God in that?

The only big deal about this solar eclipse, if I’m not wrong, comes every 300 or so years, if it’s the case this is the only time we’ll see it because I doubt the earth has 30 years let alone 300 years. So let’s enjoy it (those that will be able to see it) because we will never see this kind of solar eclipse again.

I was a survivor of Y2K and of the Mayan Calendar dooms day.. This eclipse will be just an another solar eclipse. But Jesus may take us up anytime either by rapture or death.

My hope is in Jesus alone!! But I do think we can look around at what is going on in our world and say, “wow! That sure is interesting! Let’s see what God is going to do!” 🙏 Not saying the rapture will for sure happen at this time or for sure won’t happen at that time. I won’t throw it off as nothing but I definitely won’t put my hope in it either.

But on a side note, I dream a lot every night, remembering bits and pieces 80 % of the time. Some dreams are familiarly a message.
And fact, I asked God to see my son who passed, in my dream.
I received more then I asked for. Not only did I see him, I heard him laugh, and I touched his watm face. The Lord even showed me a spot of red on his head, which the Lord told me audibly a month later, that the red spot was the blood of Jesus that cleansed him.
I dont brag, or try to prophecy nothing. But I have felt that its a gift of dreams. I feel blessed for it...
God may give personal dreams to comfort or warning to you but if he were to send it to another person He would directly talk to that person. I had dreams that have come true like my grandfather coming to Jesus before dying and it did happened. So I think this is more of a confirmation or comforting us that he is with Jesus now and not in hell.
If anyone needs an eclipse to see we are under judgement and didn’t notice when the whole year is one long celebration of Sodom and Gomorrah in the US. Shouldn’t be fixated on an eclipse but possible hail and brimstone storms.

Nobody should set a date but there is nothing wrong with paying attention to what’s happening with sun, moon and stars. God said they were given for signs and seasons. Date setting is wrong and scoffing is wrong too. Pablo gave a definitive statement that the rapture won’t happen on April 8th. How does he know that?

Good morning, Brett. I love you and your heart and your interpretation of the scriptures and world events. I agree with you that the rapture could happen at any moment. (Hoping John Haller is wrong, love him also) The eclipse is just another weird thing happening in this month with the New Jersey earthquake in the city of Lebanon, Israel attacking Iranian consulate, our government turning its back on Israel, so many things have happened this April and it has just started. The biggest thing about the eclipse is that the non-believers are making a big deal about this one, government warnings of various sorts, people that are going out of their way to see this one well over the 2017 eclipse. I'm not saying that the Rapture is this week, month, or year. But it seems that things are converging very rapidly. There are way more things to mention about recent events. The birth pangs are coming very close together. Thank you, Brett and Pablo.

Hey brother! Great show with Britt. Really blessed. A quick word about Y2K. I recently have been thinking about that past event because it parallels all the "solar eclipse hype" in many ways. I was nearly 30 years old when the Y2K hype started to gain traction as we approached the year 2000. Many of those who were warning about Y2K; writing books which sounded very convincing; went on speaking tours and were pre-mil, pre-trib proponents were making strong cases that this was something we needed to prepare for. Well, we know how that turned out. So, what is my point? It is simply this: that even rock solid, grounded, bible reading Christians can get ensnared in this type of hype and sensationalism. As an example [with no judgment and only love and utmost respect] was the late, great and humble man, Chuck Missler. Yes, Chuck Missler. He wrote about the Y2K issue. He authored a work titled “The Millennium Bomb - Y2K,” which includes two audio cassettes and a booklet, published on January 1, 1997. Additionally, he co-authored a book with John Ankerberg that investigated the potential crises that could be caused by the Y2K bug. Missler’s work on Y2K focused on the importance of prep. Even the best of us can fall prey. This broadcast and your admonishment to stay in prayer and in the Word is our only defense against the allurement to stray into speculation; no matter how convincing it may seem. [BTW, this is "SJ". This administration told BB Netanyahu to stop the war in Gaza, is pushing for a two state solution, and told Iran not to hit American troops and we won't respond if they hit Israel; just before this solar eclipse. The last time that we had solar eclipses in the form of an X over North America, it was in the early 1800s. New Madrid fault line earthquakes happened in 1811 and 1812 just three months after the solar eclipses, with magnitude 7+ to 8+. The Mississippi River ran backwards and the shocks were felt clear to the east coast. I think it's a warning! Don't take my word for it. Search it out yourselves.
Everytime the US has tried to divide Israel something has happened to the US. CERN is a major concern. Also tons of occultism dates line up like the anniversary of Aleister Crowley hearing from an "entity" April 8, 9, 10. Also why do earthquakes follow eclipses? Why is NASA launching 3 rockets at it also? JD Farag had a great update about this today. I don't think the rapture will occur tomorrow but I don't think it's a benign event.

Why don’t we call out these people that do this online. I get ridiculed by speaking out in the comments when these guys speculate. They always put that statement it could happen, we are saying it will, but it could. For example Barry Awe has had so many “could” happen, he’s quite for a couple of weeks, and jumps to the next “ feast” or heavenly sign that is coming up. It’s ridiculous to listen to these people.

Repenting of sins, turning from sins is not the Gospel of the Grace of God that saves us. That is front-loading the Gospel. Repentance means a change of mind, from unbelief to belief in what Christ Jesus did for us on the cross to pay for our sins, plus nothing. If someone comes to the cross and adds anything else to that, there is no salvation according to God's word.
If that is the Gospel as you believe it to be, then Paul and Silas really messed up when they answered the Philippian jailer's question on how to be saved...
Acts 16:30-31

30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
Notice they only said "believe," and you will be saved. They didn't destroy the simplicity that is in Christ by adding to the free gift by saying... But you must also turn from your sins, get baptized, speak in tongues, turn a new leaf, etc. No they didn't.
The Apostle Paul had to warn the foolish Galatians who were adding works to the Gospel. Paul rebuked them very harshly for that by calling it another gospel. Turning from sins takes effort, which makes it works. Having to turn from sins to be saved, nullifies what God calls a free gift. We're saved by Grace through Faith in Christ Alone.
The other deception being thrown out there is called back-loading the Gospel. Which teaches that a person must maintain good works to prove they were truly saved. 1 Cor. 5:5 (KJV), 1 Cor. 11:30 (KJV), 1 Cor. 3:15 totally disprove that false teaching.
Now obviously after a person gets saved by just simply believing the Gospel, then they should turn from their sins, live holy, and serve the Lord. But they don't do those things to get saved, stay saved, or to prove they're saved.
There's a YT video entitled "Repenting of Sins will send You to Hell." I strongly suggest people watch that and then re-evaluate whether they truly got saved or not. Time is getting short, and Satan is having a field day with his false doctrine of salvation today. 🙏🏻

Paul warned us these things would happen. 2Tm4:3-4. Much of these false teachings are tied directly to the pre-trib rapture. Thats why pre-trib teachers almost NEVER will answer biblical questions. For example. When is THE judgment DAY? Is it when the Lord RETURNS, or after the so-called 7 year tribulation, or after the so-called literal 1000 years???

We believers are not judged for sin ; Jesus paid it all , but when we are raptured , there is a Bema seat judgment for rewards ; we are saved so we are not judged for salvation
When we were saved , we passed from death to life right at that moment
But all unbelievers are judged after the 1000 year reign of Jesus
