Cycling in Northern Spain #15: Cantabria Via Verde del Pas, Puerto de las Estacas de Trueba

In Puente Viesgo we follow the bike route Via Verde del Pas, a cycleway along the Rio Pas. The climb to the Puerto de las Estacas de Trueba is long but not very steep. The green grassy mountain slopes reminds me of Ireland or Scotland. After a short descent to Espinosa de los Monteros we camp near Villalazara. The white limestone cliffs from the Ojo Guareña karst complex makes the landscape here completely different.
