Agree. If today social media shuts down, 95% of these new riders will stop. For a lot of us who have been riding much before social media came in, travelling was about travelling and enjoying and not about posting content on social media. But majority in today travel to create content and not to enjoy travelling by itself.

Back to the future!!!! In 1999 you were riding a bike from 2009....interesting. Do I get a free sticker being the first to spot the deliberate mistake? My reason for travel is to learn about other people, the cultures and customs, I am addicted to new horizons. I went to 13 schools when my father moved, 2 technical colleges to do my engineering, traveled whenever I had a little money, I have traveled in 70+ countries and am now living in my 6th country. Good video mate.

Talking about social medias, people who were born in the 70's or 80's have a big advantage: they grew up before the "digital era". So they (or most of them) can tell exactly where the real world stops and where the fake universe begins. Kids today live in very messed up social environment with all the consequences.

For me, what ED MARCH did with his absolutely enjoyable unique way of motorcycle travelling proves the esence of Motorcycle Travelling itself: enjoy riding and don't give a S*&^t about what people say or comment. As you said this social media transforms and creates human behavior on a different reality. At the end, the personal experience will be remembered or NOT, the one who travels just for likes will remember nothig at the end of the day. It's like in nowadays concerts where 99% of the audience is filming with the mobile phone and not enjoying the actual concert. Great topic as usual, Greetings from beautiful Romania !

The benefit of riders posting on social media, provide many of us an insight to places that most are not able to get to. I get emense pleasure from such, yet also learn from their riding skills and situations that they sometimes get into. There are number of people that do produce greatdocumentories and tutorials ( Pavlo is one of the channels that watch with prequency) whom provide good advice, tips and share their knowledge to many od us newbies. Yes at 60 yrs, I still consider myself as a newbie. lots to learn, see and experience. Ride for the pleasure it gives you, not the purpose. It's not all about money or becomming "famous".

That is so true with the first one and second, . There are many many times where I rarely take pictures or video. I'm doing it for myself. I'm a curious person and I like to find out about people and places. What I've learned about riding motorcycles for 37 years. It doesn't matter where you go, in what country, what tribe. We are all basically the same.
One thing I'm very sure you have some across before. Let me give you an example. When I rode around Burma. So many people ok mostly Americans, we're saying don't go to Shan State. Now Shan State has had a civil war going on since 1948. What I discovered was a group of very lovely people and spending a night in a bar with a group of rebel soldiers drinking, eating, smoking/ I could not speak Burmese they could not speak English. But, we ended up having a good time. the time I have traveled to places that some might consider dangerous. From my experience if you know a few phrases in the local language like; Where can I get a drink?, Where can I buy cigarettes? Where can I find petrol?. And do everything with a smile. It's amazing at how welcoming people can be. That night was fun because we ended up teaching each other bad words in our respective language.

Thank you, Pavkiv, for your wisdom and effort in making these videos.
My only long distance motorcycle road trip was in 2021 from Phoenix, Arizona to southern Minnesota to see my sister who turned 75 that year.
I’ve been riding motorcycles since 1978 and have always wanted to go on a trip like this. Finally, just after I purchased my 2020 Harley-Davidson Road Glide Limited motorcycle, my wife suggested I go on this lifelong dream.
I was prepared for everything except the wind, which proved to be very difficult to ride in day after day. Sometimes, the sheer force from 50 MPH wind gusts was enough to scare me. Others than this, the trip was excellent.

Thank you. Wise advise from an experienced rider. I ride because I like to travel submerged in the local environment. Only motorcycles and bicycles and horses do this. Bicycles require and provide superb physical condition and this reward makes cycles hard to beat. Horses carry you and are lovely but you have to work your life to keep them well. Motorcycles are a lovely machine and provide greater range but require great concentration. No place for mistakes here.
