In the pool we turn them on right before the event. If it's in a ballroom, we give the remote(s) to the client and show them how to turn them on. :~) Also, another tip, if you turn down the brightness, you can get a longer life out of them, but I don't know by how much as I haven't done any tests on it yet.
wow, that's a huge question lol. You should check out my Balloon Business Bootcamp, online classes starting July 2... Http://www.BalloonExpertSchool.com :~)
Woah this is awesome! I'm a twister but I've done a little decor in the past. I just had a client who requested a few columns for an event. Lights like these are just what I was looking for to really wow them. Thanks you so much for this and all your videos. I'll learning so much, my business is expanding and my clients are impressed. You rock!
Awesome! Awesome! I we are slamming the festival circuit with face painting, glitter tats, and balloon twisting right now, but this is a very doable option for winter when we are trying to find new ways to beef up the biz! You are always the first person I think of when I think balloon decor! Keep those cameras rolling!
I can't wait to try this! What if the balloons are 36" but inflated to only 30" (air-filled) and floating in a jacuzzi that's a toasty 88-90 degrees. Should I worry about the latex "melting" and evenutally popping? they will be in the water for 4 hours.
Question for you: Do you worry about the 2lb dumbbell weights shifting in the pool due to the wind? I used wrapped bricks that were definitely more than 2lbs each and they shifted in the pool before we even finished the job.
If it's crazy windy everything can shift- you've essentially created a giant sail with the balloon. In general the balloons that were up high didn't shift too much, but the ones that were at the water line had a little shifting. Not too bad though. I often bring a variety of weight options with me and test one on site while I work on the rest. :~)
That looks soooo pretty! I got some of these light...I haven't used them yet, but the set I got, each light comes with their own remote. That's the way it should be, right? Also they don't have a small hole to put the fishing line through. I guess I could tape the fishing line to it, huh? Thank you for sharing this awesome video with us...:)
There should be a small hole through the little line down the center if you look (if they're the same lights). The ones I use from fortune products have it and yes, each comes with it's own remote :~) If you use tape, make sure it's a really strong tape and overdo it ;-)
Sandi, You mentioned that Mary is going to "tie it in place". Does that mean that she's tying it to the weight after achieving the proper height, then dropping the weight on the bottom of the pool? Also, is there a pricing formula for this installation?
Yes, she takes the tail that I left hanging off the weight and ties it to the line after she sets the height. Also remember to tie the pieces coming out of the balloon to the line that is holding the balloon to the weight. Somehow that's not shown in the video. :~)
For pricing questions, put them in my beginning balloon professional group on Facebook, or better yet, come join my online Balloon Business Bootcamp where we talk a LOT about marketing, sales and pricing to make money! Http://www.BalloonExpertSchool.com :~)
Thanks! You could also use bricks or paver stones that are double wrapped in plastic table cloth - I usually use the turquoise one to disappear in the water :~)
This is exactly what I need for my wedding in Australia, could you please tell me the type of balloons you are using here? I'm assuming a latex pearl white 17", but just a guess?
no, there's no reason for hi float in these, and hi float doesn't do real well outdoors anyway. The lights only last about 6 hours, so pool events (or any balloons w/ battery operated lights) have to be timed very carefully :~)
I have a potential client who jas requested balloons in a pool with lights. Glad I found this video! Quick question is there an alternative to using the weights? Can I use a water balloon as my weight? I don't want to have to go back for any equipment or should I incorporate the price of the weights into the contract?
Hi Sandi, what type of balloon should we use? Tried it with the ones we had and the balloon didn’t float with the light inside. Can you describe a specific brand/type of balloon I should get please? What are we doing wrong, please help. 🥹
I absolutely loved it I am looking for a design for a 50th birthday party I am using rose gold latex balloons and rose gold foil I would like to do something really differentplease give me an idea Melanie Balloons
Anytime you use balloons that are the same color, but at different heights and spacing you can have a beautiful effect. What part of the room are you trying to decorate? The tables, the entrance, the stage, the dancefloor? There are sooo many different things you could do :~)
I started watching your videos to decorate for a school event. Now I am a RUclips balloon tutorial junkie. Love love love these lights and the effect.
That is too funny!! Watch out, pretty soon you may find yourself becoming a pro ;~)
Woww that is amazing!!! Thank fow sharing this technique!!
Beautiful and SO uncomplicated. Thanks a bunch. Already thinking how I can use the technique this summer.
Thanks! :~) Can't wait to see your pix :~)
This is beautiful! Thanks for sharing! I absolutely love watching your videos!

Do you need a different remote for every ballon?
this looks absolutely beautiful
Thanks! It goes over HUUUUUUGE with the clients!! :~)
Sandi this is very very nice. since the lights only last for 6 hours at what point you turn them on?
In the pool we turn them on right before the event. If it's in a ballroom, we give the remote(s) to the client and show them how to turn them on. :~) Also, another tip, if you turn down the brightness, you can get a longer life out of them, but I don't know by how much as I haven't done any tests on it yet.

Aww thanks! :~)

maybe even just inflate it less? 26"?
They should be fine, but def underinflate. Maybe 28" or so. You want them good and squishy :~)
Hi… I love this video… Can I used 19” balloons for this decoration ? with smaller lights than you used? Thank you !!
This is a great video. Thanks for sharing!
Thansk! :~)
Question for you: Do you worry about the 2lb dumbbell weights shifting in the pool due to the wind? I used wrapped bricks that were definitely more than 2lbs each and they shifted in the pool before we even finished the job.

Wish I had seen these about a month ago...such a clever idea!👍🏼
Thansk! :~)

I have to put fairy lights in bubble balloons in pool. Can fairy lights work in pool??
Thank you for sharing. You said use a 3lb weight. Is that enough weight or will they be moving around in the pool?
The heavier and bigger the footprint the better. wrapped paver stones work really well. :~)
Hi🎈 what weight mono line should be used?
Sandi, You mentioned that Mary is going to "tie it in place". Does that mean that she's tying it to the weight after achieving the proper height, then dropping the weight on the bottom of the pool? Also, is there a pricing formula for this installation?

Love this
Sooooo Awesome!
Thanks!! :~)
Love your videos. Where is the best place to buy my latex balloons?
Deserie
Thanks! Go to the Qualatex or Betallic websites to find the closest distributor to you :~)
Thanks🎈
te quedo genial, saludos
Gracias! :~)
What's balloons sizes?
Wowww amazing video.. What other weight to hold can be used? thank you
These are Qualatex 36" balloons. 17' would not have enough lift to carry the weight of the light for very long. :~)
How big are the balloons?
Do one remote works for all of the light?
Yes, one remote will work for all of them, but it doesn't have a great range ~ you have to get right up on it for it to work :~)
Very beautiful and inspiring. Do you use hi-float on these?
no, there's no reason for hi float in these, and hi float doesn't do real well outdoors anyway. The lights only last about 6 hours, so pool events (or any balloons w/ battery operated lights) have to be timed very carefully :~)
I have a potential client who jas requested balloons in a pool with lights. Glad I found this video! Quick question is there an alternative to using the weights? A water balloon won't go down to the bottom as there is always just a bit of air in there, but you can use a wrapped brick or paver stone :-)
@@SandiMasoriPresents ok cool thanks for the tips Sandi😊
Hi Sandi, what type of balloon should we use? Tried it with the ones we had and the balloon didn’t float with the light inside. Can you describe a specific brand/type of balloon I should get please? What are we doing wrong, please help. 🥹
These are Qualatex 36" balloons. You need to fill them to at least 2.5' so that there will be enough lift for the entire event. :~)
Me encanto❤❤❤
What size balloons are the large ones? 36 inches?
yes, 36" :-)
Where do you order your balloons from? And where could I find the light?
Check out the Qualatex and Betallic websites for a list of distributors. As for the lights, I get them from fortune products. :~)
I absolutely loved it I am looking for a design for a 50th birthday party I am using rose gold latex balloons and rose gold foil I would like to do something really differentplease give me an idea Melanie Balloons

Please send the name of the light. And where can I get some to buy
I enjoyed your video :) Keep it up!
Thank you! :~)
I clicked the link to purchase the lights, but i don't see it.
call them ~ fortune products :~)
Ok, thanks!
can you show how to make a hello kitty balloon arch with a balloon stand I need help on how to make the ears pointy
I'll add it to the list, but "parody" stuff takes a lot longer for me to shot because I can't do it in the you tube studios :-)
What is the price? Why do we have to login to get it?.........BOOOOO
