So...what's the rationale for starting the clock on barrel racing whether the horse is there or not? It seems like now the most important thing is to be at the gate at the one and only split second you got, cause either you add 1 to 1.5 seconds to your time, or...do you get disqualified if you jump the clock? Why did they do this? So far, no likey, but I'ma keep an open mind....
Ever so often there is some extra noise in with the announcers. It is very loud and annoying. It went on during last man standing recently, now in this.

WHY the lights? I am not liking them at all. Need to go back to the original way it was done for 60 + years I have watched it.
