Great refresher for growers. I wish there was more data/science studies on Nitrogen- its kinda the WONDER Nutrient. I WONDER where it went? I WONDER what my plant took up? Growers just "think" they put out 180 lbs its just "there"... nope. In 2022 in S. MN 150lbs yielded the same as 220 lbs so N was not the limiting factor. The roots went deep in June, dry, thus I think we pulled ALOT out of our "SOIL BANK ACCOUNTS" :) lol

I have sandy soil that is an ancient sand dune my soil has about 30 pounds of salt per acre and it does not flush out despite having the soil with the highest chance to leach. I tend to have nitrogen and micronutrient issues.
