Yeah you need a unique and high energy to match with Bobby well. Reddy in smtm5 is a great rapper, many would say better than Bobby strictly in terms of rap, but he was too lowkey/chill as a performer that he was overshadowed in the performance

@@uniqornrrealll2384 from my observations ballad heart wrenching performances tend to win against happy pop-ish songs on smtm.. but what beats a good ballad song is usually a hardcore dark rap stage, which is why this song managed to beat basick's. so I think he just used the wrong strategy in the semifinals imo. mudd's semifinal song was really good but it didnt leave an emotional impact like koonta's did
