- Since its inception, KeySpace explored the possibilities of having wide range of orchestral instrument sounds, dynamically expressed through keyboard workstations to form an ensemble. Hence, the project came alive and here it is now, our very first effort, a tribute for his 30 Years of “Live at the Acropolis.” - 1993.
This is Yanni’s “Santorini”, reimagined and performed by KeySpace.

Wow! As a former synthesist, myself, I appreciated the awesomely-hard work it must’ve taken you all, to approximate this, from Yanni’s Acropolis Concert version of this song, so well. This is wonderful! I had to double check, to listen and see if it wasn’t just you playing back the original, w/o audio. In spite of the criticism I saw in other comments, please, don’t stop! In my early days, in the ‘80s and ‘90s, I held Yanni and his music, in high esteem, and he was a huge role model for my own music, and in the studio. You guys have taken his music to heart, and done an awesome job. A request/suggestion: See if you can emulate the music of his “Prog Rock” days, (from the albums: Optimystique; Keys to Imagination, which this song you did play, “Santorini”, is originally from; Out of Silence). Those were the ones which were Jaw-Dropping to me, when I first heard them. There’s a lot of great music, in those albums! Kudos to you, and this hard work. Hoping to hear more, from you😊BTW, you’re all very talented musicians, in your own right😊
