For Cashiers/Baggers: I think this is the proper way to bag, but some stores (supervisors/managers) probably prioritize using most of the bag space as opposed to putting everything in its own bag. Check with a collegue who has more experience in the store to see which the manager or supervisor prefers. You could get a scolding if you don't end up using the bag space a lot more in an effort not to cross contaminante and your manager/supervisor prefers you not to use lots of bags.
So our manager just want us to put stuff together regardless of cross contamination. I understand that this is an environmental store however, meat with vegetables and soap 🙄 really bothers me. They say that the customers don’t care. As a customer I care.
