Pia is getting better race by race. He needs to just work on his tyre management in hot weather. People mention the gap with Lando but I watched the onboard and Piastri could have gone a lot faster but his team wanted him to conserve tyres. I think Piastri will only put up with McLaren prioritising Norris until the end of this year. I think next year they will have no favourites.
I think piastri should win a couple of world titles as long as he gets the right car. He should be as good or better than Lando next year imo. Pia has shown that since the upgrades he is a better qualifier than Lando and he just needs to work on his race pace which comes from experience. The other reason why McLaren values Piastri is due to his driver feedback which is fast tracking car development. Stella who worked with Schumacher states that Oscar has similar traits in building a team. The podium will have no effect on Piastri imo as he only cares about winning. Piastri should win a race before Norris as Oscar deals with pressure better.

I mean everyone can say what they want about Lando but he has proven that he can be a top competitor consistently when the car allows him to, he continuously delivers and is up on the podium with the new upgrades. Personally I think they are both equally talented in their own ways and both are championship contenders. As Oscar improves, so does Lando and you see it as the races go by. So I think it’s hard to predict right now that one will be better than the other.

When Lewis came into the sport was anyone saying he needs to relax and let Alonso lead and not challenge him NOPE Lewis ignored team orders at Mclaren raced for himself and began a legendary legacy for himself so can we really be angry at George for wanting the same.
As for Alonso challenging Max i dont agree i think Alonso is still great but he is not at the level he was in 2012 to me he has lost some speed he and ocon were close on pace so i dont see him how i see Lewis or Max or even Norris and Leclerc on raw pace age is catching up with him slowly.
