Is there a way to just keep the gimbal locking the lens straight? I noticed when i walk around it keeps rotating. I balanced everything. First time using gimbal, it's confusing. I thought it would just keep things stabilize i didn't realize it does all sorts of rotating and pointing the lens in various directions.
I hope they add a way to change this behavior in the settings. I upgraded from the Moza Aircross and would always do those types of movements without any issues. Also I notice using the joystick won’t pan in pf mode with my weebill-s it only will tilt. 🤦🏽♂️
The problem is solved in the firmware update v1.96. In the description there's a link to another video. You can see there how the gimbal behaves after the update. Hope it makes your filming easier!
great! i just get weebill s...i came from ronin sc and i have a question... if i shoot at pov and i want instantly to lock on a subject for some seconds and then pov again, how i do that? i mean , at the ronin i was just pushing the trigger and locks, here trigger is to follow... how i do that??
Hi, there's a Lock switch on your Weebill, and you probably can enter Lock mode from POV easily. But I suppose the way back from it would be: Lock -> PF -> POV. Are you bothered by the need to go through PF, not just straight back to POV?
Hi, I've a question... each time when I double press to enter V (Vortex) Mode and into sling mode position it always drift to one side and it doesn't stays in the center. And I need to manually adjust the joystick to recenter it each time. Is this normal or there's a problem in it? Thanks in advance.
Try moving joystick left-right immediately after you enter (V)ortex mode. This way you get the vortex rotation. If you press other buttons (like you do on the video), you just exit (V)ortex.
In (V)ortex the camera always points along the handle and moves (rotates) ONLY around the handle axis. Even if you hold the gimbal vertically. All other motors are blocked. This is the purpose of the mode.
@@vladimirzavyalov the tripod i wanted to buy is MKBFRLA4BK-BH, and i don't know what base it has but i know it has a 200pl-pro plate. That's why i wanted to know if 200pl-pro plate would fit in the Manfrotto 323 RC2 that obviously i'm thinking of getting for my webill s. Merry christmas!
@@fanikurti2420 I have never tried the 200PL-PRO, but Manfrotto website declares it as RC2 compatible. Once you have the RC2 base, the pro plate should click into just fine! This way you’ll be switching a camera between the tripod and the gimbal easily!
The L(ock) mode without a doubt keeps you out of trouble since it lock all the axes, true! BUT "A" - it might not suit the needs of your shot if there's some panning involved (and normally it's involved). And "B" - you'd better not switch from L mode to PF mid shot, cause you're very likely to have the exact jerky sudden move from this video!
Some band-aids are not worth the effort because you lose some critical functionality that you may need for some key shots. This as a one off fix to get a job completed until you get a permanent fix may work but this issue is unacceptable.
I am a newbie in the Gimble arena as well thanks for the knowledge I will post my findings if this or similar issues happens to me during my use of my new Weebill S.
As a gimbal noob, I got it last week and I haven't had a chance to check those issues out. My problem is downloading the Zy Play app to my Moto Android phone. I"ll try to go the website, check support and look into the warranty. Minor issue with a slight horizontal tilt to the left. @@vladimirzavyalov Thank you for the reply. First I guess, is it "normal" for the gimbal to "lag" a bit when panning/twisting the handle? New firmware has this mostly gone. I think I am on 2.03. Yes this drove me crazy and ruined a lot of shots for me. I think part of it is the shape and size. Yeah, this has been almost solved already with 1.96. I've just updated to 2.03 and can also confirm it's even better than 1.96. It's still possible to squeeze out some shakes and glitches, but mostly in awkward scenarios only. In general the gimbal behaves quite nicely, and Zhiyun have clearly improved Weebill-S firmware in the last year.
