Hmm..... animal farming and Wattles totally missed the pig?!?!? I don't think he has the correct food for it, but to totally ignore it? Does he have something against them? We may never know 🤔....... unless he answers this comment 😂
I like going after the dragon sooner. Then newer viewers can see that they don't have to be too nervous. Then by doing the new stuff later, we'll have nothing urging us to be hasty, thus mistake prone. We'll be able get more enjoyment that way.
Also, will be super helpful to have shulker boxes early from a content creation perspective, would make wattles job a little easier. Though nether has to come before the end and the stronghold needs its own episode too, so you'd have to either skip the nether and come back to it to go over all the new biomes and structures after the end, or just do the nether first. A few waterbuckets for the endermen and enough obsidian to make yourself a hut to heal up in and a power IIi infinity bow + a stack of food items is all you really need though. Oh, and feather falling boots. Though the water buckets solve that issue too
@@wattlesplays I think fighting the dragon early would show how easy it is even with minimal preparations, and so you don't have to feel like it is a daunting task, which is a good thing in my opinion
whether or not you delay the dragon fight depends on this: will you, as per usual, stay at the starter base until you defeat the ender dragon, or would you consider moving to a permanent base location before that? i feel like most of the series you should be working on your permanent base, so i would say... just don't spend 𝘵𝘰𝘰 long at the starter base. so delaying taking on the ender dragon? maybe push it forward a few episodes, but if you plan on staying at starter base until then don't wait too much longer
XD and after i commented that, later in the video you said you were already getting too attached to the area, even saying "somebody stop me" lol i guess this is me trying
With the light it is sky light that needs to be above 7 for crops to grow. No need for a light source right next to the crop but it does spawn proof the area
Farming tip if you put wheat on its own it grows slower then wheat next to a row of anither crop like carrots use different rows for different crops for faster growth!
By adding a dispensor to the chicken farm, you can feed the extra wheat seeds to the chickens from your wheat farm. Then it produces not only eggs, but the same cramming effect used in the cow crusher makes this the chicken crusher which gives you chicken meat and feathers -yay on the feathers???
Here's an idea... make paths connecting all of your builds. The path can be as simple or complex as you want but I think it makes everything feel more connected.
We watch these videos because they are well made and entertaining. If you want to switch your series orders around, I doubt that will change the quality of the series. : )
I say do the dragon when you feel like it. Don't rush it to meet some goal, but don't slow-walk it either. If you feel like killing the dragon (or decide you really need elytra/shulkers), go kill it. Take it at your own pace.
I say push for the ender dragon and then get to the new stuff after. Besides, everything is easier with shulkers and elytra. And ender dragon is more "classic" MC too.
I love how Waddles always finds creative ways to make farming in Minecraft interesting and fun! Can't wait to see more of his builds and adventures in future episodes! 🌿🐄🌾
I'd prefer a pushed back dragon fight because of the more adventurous (and more connected to the world since you are still affected by it?) feel that having elytras, shulkers and netherite kinda .. rob
Go for the dragon, but don't forget to collect some breath. Elytra and shulker boxes will make everything else you do that much more efficient. It also gives you a reason to build a creeper farm. You don't need water to grow wheat. I think you only need water to grow the root vegetables. If you plant the seed fast enough after tilling the soil, it will grow without the tilled soil breaking. You can easily farm wheat in the Nether that way. The process is that much faster with bone meal. Cocoa beans are a better source of bone meal than sweet berries. You can also grow watermelon, sweet berries, cocoa, bamboo, and pumpkin without water in the Nether. With some bee hives and a chicken farm, that gives you bread, pumpkin pie, watermelon, cookies, sweet berries, and cooked chicken for food. The wheat is also used to breed other animals. Plant some oak trees and you can add golden apples to the list. A brown mooshroom can give you suspicious stew or be sheared for milk. The dilated pupils on the mooshroom are funny because it implies that the mushrooms growing on their back are psychedelic. You need to keep your chickens away from lava. A high density chicken farm can turn into an inferno rather quickly if it is too close to lava.
Instead of going somewhere far away for a new base, you could just slowly expand out from the world spawn building bigger bases as the area grows. You could even build small bases at other areas where you need to go for specific blocks/ items or to build certain farms.
I'm good with either direction you go! Things I'd love to see in the future besides all the new goodness from 1.20: Enderman EXP farm and a villager trading hall -- stonks4life! Keep up the good work my friend, thanks for the content! ✌✌
I have a few ideas for this Guide Season IV. First of all, I hope you really get into rabbits & collecting mob variations, like get the 7 colors of rabbits, the 5 types of parrots, all the cats, and you could even try to redeem yourself and get all types of pandas. Most interestingly though, wouldnt it be really cool to have a place with every villagers in the game (like 1 of each job x biome outfit)? That could be a really sick long-term goal! Also, am I the only one who hopes wattles uploads a third guide episode weekly instead of one of the other videos? Absolutely top tier series from a top tier creator! 🤩
I binged all the episodes. I like when you build useful things. Like last episode with the space we XP. I feel like when you do it. I add it to my world.
I don't know why so many people hate the rain. I love it, and I find it as a good omen, because it replenishes our needs and gives us water. Light to mild is best, heavy, it's great just not so much of it.
Since you already found a trail ruins I think you should cover them before the dragon fight since the loot is slightly more useful early game and a brush can be made on day one (you don't even need an iron pickaxe to mine the copper for it) so it's possible other players are encountering them really early on too.
you can get a large oak simply by placing a slab on top of a flower next to the oak sampling, that's all you have to do and you'll increase the chances of a bee hive spawning, you don't need to do 4 solid blocks one block above
In my opinion, every youtuber fights the dragon... who cares? You've done it, you'll do it again... so it really doesn't matter when. The farms, the exploring, the new stuff... that's all more interesting.
Dragon first!!! - The trail ruins fill up at least 4 shulkers with gravel and coarse dirt, which is great for building but not great if you leave it in a chest 5k away. So get shulkers!
I think you should end the dragon as soon as possible, because that opens up all sorts of things, endermen farms, chorus and if you find the stronghold, you can (possibly) get a armour trim
For all the beginners, I'd recommend not building the crop farm like in the video. It might be tempting since villages have theirs like that, but it's much more efficient to have a square that is 9x9 blocks and to have one water source block in the middle. You can then still place the slab and the composter in the middle, meaning you can't accidentally fall in the water
Fun fact of the day: In the older versions of Minecraft pocket edition, you could break grass inside a birch forest and get beetroot seeds instead of wheat seeds, sounds crazy right? I have actually played in that version (I don't remember which it was tho) and I remember getting the beetroot seeds and starting a huge beetroot farm in the middle of the birch forest.
How about you do some of the nee stuff, then go for the dragon? IIRC you already found a dig site for archeology, and with the chickens, you can get a festher for a brush. Get some shards, err, sherds!
hey wattles..this is gonna be a kinda inposable question but can you maby make a houre long video pls i love the videos and dont want it to end if im done watching a vid
