i think thats why they did the pre releases. how you like that was one of their usual songs. a collab with a western artist catches attention and it was a pink concept which is different from their usual music.then they choose somenthing different for the title track,since they were gonna have a music video they probably wanted to use some different scenes and settings to show their versatility. i also think the focus on Rosé would have helped with her upcoming solo.

*Lovesick Girls -* Absolutely the best title track to ever fucking exist, the nostalgic but somewhat free-spirited vibe it gave off was so entrancing, and the M/V and the girls, ugh, so beautiful.
*Pretty Savage -* It shut all the haters up and stuffed them back into their dirt holes, that's all I can say. The whole song just radiates power and swag, and omg if there is a choreo for that we're all dead.
*Bet You Wanna ft. Cardi B -* A whole cultural reset, no seriously. People don't make bops like this anymore. Song dragged my whipped ass back to the 2000s. Also, Cardi B fit in perfectly (might've been the most PG thing she ever rapped lol).
*Crazy Over You -* This song gave me Middle-Eastern vibes??? Idk, but I think that's what made it so unique and different, but in a good way. I loved the pre-chorus, slow pace and lots of suspense (gave me major House of Card vibes ugh so good).
*Love To Hate Me -* By far my favorite song of this album. Everything about this was just so perfect, someone else already commented it, but this song is just a drug. Pre-chorus was beautiful.

In conclusion, this album is a masterpiece. Every single song was a masterpiece. Blackpink pulled the biggest "no u" slap to haters' face, and I'm all here for it. It's been far over 24 hours, but I'm still losing my mind over this. My ears have been blessed, and I will probably never stop listening to this album.
