They seem to be about $10-15 more on average for me. That said, I find the quality to be a bit better and the edges aren't as sharp. JLC is nice for affordability and out of the fabs I've used NextPCB would be my quality pick so far.
I have a question after watching a few keyboard videos. Would it work to rotate the front row of keys through 90 degrees, so that to press them you just pull your finger back. That would make it closer and faster to press.
@@joe_scotto Thanks ,yes that’s what I had in mind more or less, including the thumb cluster also with sideways actuated keys. But I would also have a couple of downward actuated thumb keys too. Strange move to omit the key caps though.
Great that you're doing PCBs now too
(The nextpcb prices are ridiculous though. both pcbway and jlcpcb seem to be 5-10x cheaper)

Some boards do this but it’s really up to the user to decide if it works for them. Search up “Squeezebox keyboard” to find an example.
