For the zombie apocalypse you should also know how to do parkour. I mean if your on the ground with zombies coming your way you can just climb up a building and get away.

You are my favorite prepper. Love how well you planned this out, especially with the ammo clips on the shoulders, I would have never thought of that.
Thanks for the feedback but remember this bag doesn't have room for unnecessary items [remember: compact survival bag = only necessary items]. I thought about adding a mess kit but I ultimately decided not to, there are plenty of more important things. You don't always need a tent [or an oil lamp for that matter] to survive either. I have a bivvy, 2 mylar blankets 2 ponchos and plenty of paracord for shelter, so if I can't make that work then I deserve to die. :)
When you showed the paracord, I thought it was a dog bone, and I'm just like, why do you have that.
I LOVE that you did the new testament and playing cards. Entertainment and spiritual nourishment are very important
Pretty cool bag. I'd add some warm clothes. Sleeping with a bivy may be warm, but if you're forced to leave camp and don't have a lot of time to pack everything or you're travelling on a cold night, a jacket could work wonders.
I'd recommend to pack a pair or two of dry, clean socks. "Clean socks is a soldiers best friend" is an old military wisdom because nothing keeps your morale up like putting on dry socks.

Not a bad idea. I keep a lighter and flint on me on a daily basis [and an extra lighter in my Altoids Tin] but another redundancy would be useful just in case all I have is the backpack. You can always use the flint from the lighter to help start a fire too! :)
It's also important to carry a white handkerchief just in case you run into someone with more guns

The altoids tin should be out of the pack and on your body in case you have to ditch the pack

Thanks man! I envy you for having such cool gear! I wish I had the Rush 72 as my comprehensive bugout bag but my Osprey Aether 60 does an adequate job at the moment [needs more pockets though]. I looked at the MOAB series as well as the Falcon II by Maxpedition but ultimately decided on this bag for the purposes of my new EDC/work bag [my last bag cost $10 and lasted 4 years]. But before I used it as my EDC I wanted to see what it was capable of so I spent last afternoon having a bit of fun!

This might be one of the best, well-thought out BOB I've ever seen.
id suggest a right angle light for the pack strap instead of the conventional cylindrical light. Streamlight makes some inexpensive right angle lights.
I'm still looking for one! I have the poncho liner though!

Yeah they have 9mm .40cal and .45cal versions. I recommend the 9mm cuz their magazines are interchangeable with Glocks.

It's a well thought out kit, the hand sanitizer seems pretty obvious in a Zombie Apocalypse yet I don't have one in mine. Good thinking.
The only thing I don't like is the 5.11 bag, as it announces to gun guys you are carrying. Also that you might have good gear to steal, but overall a great pack.
Hm, good idea... The trouble with good ideas has always been convincing the wife but I'll give it a whirl! :)

Cool bag man, but two things I woud recommend is an oi lamp, because it can burn off of almost anything, and a mess kit, it gives you boiling, cooking, eating, and so much more than just a bottle. Also I know this is more of an urban kit but I would like to see more shelter.

Nice kit. Shelter is lacking, you would have a terrible nights sleep. I would recommend the SOL Escape Bivy. What about: Binoculars? T.P? Headlamp?

Yes I do know how to use a katana, I've been training with them for years. And shotguns hold less ammo, less accurate at close range and are harder to reload than a clip.

This is honestly my favourite bug out bag I've seen on RUclips. Im thinking of starting my own soon but since I live in the UK not gonna be able to have that many guns or knives without being put on some sort of watchlist 😂. I was thinking of using the space you use for ammo for food or water purification. Any other suggestions? Keep up the great work

Try replacing the water bladder with a life straw it takes up little space and can be used on the fly.

You need to have food high in protein, calories, and fat, you can loose alot of weight moving and surviving, also water filters to clean dirty water.

great pack, but I wouldn't carry guns they're super heavy, ammo takes up precious space, and require lots of ammo to survive, but blades are quite efficient and don't run on not reusable ammo. Also what pack did you use its decent!
The semi auto rifle is a hi point 4595 .45 caliber or available in 40 as well roughly around $400 or less depending where you get it

good video mate but see those knives and torch would you keep them on your bag at all times? cause thats a bad idea i would recommend keeping them on your person incase you have to ditch your bag
the tools (knifes,torches etc) that are on and in my backpack are always backups

Nice vid of the pack! I have a Rush 72 myself, love the size and it fits everything! I've been meaning to pick up the smaller version for light/medium edc but ended up getting the MOAB 6 instead.

It is 5.11 Tactical But I have the Tactical Assault Gear Sniper pack much better, but it costs
if you free'd up some space by taking the kabar kit out and attaching that to the bag itself or belt, take all your ammo and invest in a ammo box or divided ammo box and the (which im pretty sure you'd do) take the k-bar out (tho it takes up little space you could fit alil more stuff in there for sure. BUT regardless nice kit brother!
For the ammo you can take a .22 caliber, the rounds are pretty small.
