How wonderful that you captured the whole show. I had the honour of producing and writing it once again and it’s lovely to see it from the stands.

Congratulations on your 2 events so far. Have enjoyed them both on YT thanks to the ever resourceful Mr Baton.. Whats the plans for this event looking forward? Is it likely to continue and maybe expand with other countries marching bands taking part?. Or is it just basically for young musicians from the UK and the states to experience a major live event with other talented young musicians.

Marched in the white uniforms, we had 20 hours to learn all the tattoo and teach the incoming freshman how to march.

Thank you Mr Baton, I was not aware of this event. It reminds me of the Earls Court Royal Tournament in the 70s and the annual Youth Band Marching Competitions at the Royal Albert Hall in the 80s .Liked and shared. Well done our Royal Marines Band. Nice to see the flags

Earls Court was a great annual military show. As a young Wren along with others we sold programmes...looked cute in the little white hats we wore with our No.1 uniforms. Always cheered For Fleet Air Arm of course, who usually won.... happy days for a young girl...now the girls are just in the RN....but we were WRNS and the Marine Band played at our passing out parade at HMS Mercury, just great. Earls Court military week was just fabulous and dud not fare so well when taken to Olympia and now....no more Field Gun competitions as too expensive..let's have a petition to get them reinstated...they were a real show piece for the three commands...
