It has been brought to my attention that Quince may not be as sustainable or ethical as I thought they were when making this video. Good On You rates Quince as a 2 out of 5 on sustainability and ethics & in July 2023, PETA sent a warning letter to Quince to stop misleading consumers by advertising cashmere as "non harmful" to animals directory.goodonyou.eco/brand/quince www.peta.org/media/news-releases/quinces-deceptive-humane-claims-prompt-legal-warning-from-peta/ ecocult.com/quince-ethical-sustainable-greenwashing/
I love Quince Products. I was cautious to try them out, but the reasonable prices and positive comments convinced me. I started out with a collared cashmere sweater which I’ve now had over a year. I’ve owned many cashmere sweaters over the years and adore them. This particular sweater is a heavier weight, beautiful Carmel/tan color and heavier weight than the $50.00 cashmere. I’ve since bought a faded blue $50.00 cashmere which I sized up for roominess and it’s a bit lighter weight, perfect for my warmer climate. I own 3 of the silk short sleeved shells and the copper color is stunning. I DO dry clean silk and I’m very pleased with all 3. Sizing is consistent. Free delivery and easy returns. I am not being paid for this, just a happy new customer!
Great video! I had to say I feel the same about your blue dress. I ordered pink one and for the same reason (empire waist line) I didn’t look good and I returned it. I think only too skinny people can pull off empire waist dress without looking pregnant.
Wear a flesh colored bra I love the cashmere tee. I have it in 3 colors. When you wear a white tee wear a flesh colored bra. Makes a world of difference.
idk it just seems too good to be true (ethical, reasonably priced & high-quality? c'me on). i'm not usamerican so i've never seen an ad for quince, i just found out about the brand on fashiontube. Good On You does rate the brand as "not good enough" so i don't know how legit their 'ethical' claim is.
Oh no! Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I usually run a brand past Good On You, but Quince's website seemed to provide so much information - now after looking into it a little bit more, it seems that they may be greenwashing their brand
@@ireeesebeautyy no problem, it happens. Sometimes the marketing is too good haha. But it does seem like the good ol' saying "if it seems too good to be true, it's probably not true" strikes once again
I've been buying from Quince for years now before they get in all over youtube. I have at least 15 items from them all the way to my beddings. I also gave them to friends. I don't buy all their items but I choose the ones with good quality. Those have last me years now. I am petite at 5 foot that's why I'm very particular. I also have a lot of items from Sezane and I wear them everyday at work from silk shirts to the trench coat. I also have items from Uniqlo. I only choose natural fibers because of my allergies that I found out a couple of years ago. You have to know what is a good quality with the stitching and overall composition. To me it is not the brand but I'm glad Quince offer some quality items at an afforable price. Their return policy is very good.

Wool is not harmful to animals and it’s very environmentally friendly

I’ve been seeing ads for quince everywhere lately, I had no idea they had a sustainable supply chain! Definitely have to check them out

Well done video!
Thank you!
I love the Mongolian cashmere tee and have it in brown and gray. Sorry you didn’t like it.
Ohh I’m glad it worked out for you though!
