For the record, in my personal opinion, the type of video and the content is secondary for you and your friend group. The banter, the interactions between you all, the jokes... those are the *real* content. In fact, your channels are usually my go-to for some background noise while I'm reading or writing. No matter what you're playing, the content is always phenomenal. Also, I loved the Sonic '06 playthrough and I'm bummed that it didn't do well :( I know you might stream the Silver and Shadow stories, but I never really watch livestreams; I just never have the time.
Yessss, I absolutely agree with this! I've said before that I don't really care what Max is doing as long as he and his friends are enjoying it. It's their laughter and their jokes that make my day, not the game they're playing.

If you’re looking for specific suggestions, I think the improv/roleplay-ish thing you do in Raft is funny asf and you should do more stuff like that in other games as well. I think it’s a nice mix between being yourself and doing things for content.
Honestly the reason Max and Ross are my favorite youtubers is the fact that they don't really censor who they are. I love the "thanks f*ck you too" response to haters. They are pretty close in age to me too :) Makes me feel like i'm hanging out with my friends like I used to before I had to start working for a living. I look forward to every video.

My major thing about the insult humor (with my group) is if someone goes "hey thats not ok" we appologize and stop doing it. If we did it for youtube, I would also edit those too far jokes out, and I think that you do to if they ever happened, because thats just friendship. So I’ve been watching for years now, technically. Was here when you first started this channel and took a little break from Minecraft stuff but have been watching constantly now for a while. For the recommendation part, apologies for always saying to post anything. Just feels odd to say "hey, I like this and not this" cause I don't wanna make you post stuff you don't have fun with. If you want a genuine request, I'd like more of this. More of just, hanging out and chatting while doing something simple. It's really fun to watch and hear you guys have fun and bicker about small things.

So I’ve been watching for years now, technically. Was here when you first started this channel and took a little break from Minecraft stuff but have been watching constantly now for a while. It's baffling that even *as Max is vocal in his videos* that he reads the comments on *every* video he uploads- people are still brave enough to comment something insensitive and think he won't see or talk about it
I actually think that's why people make those comments, because they know Max takes the time to read the comments. They just want to make other people upset. It's pretty disgusting. Misery loves company, I guess.

I get what you mean with the way you joke with your friends, i have a few friends i jokingly insult and laugh at because i know they can take it and they can insult me back once again as a joke because its hilarious and we've known each other for many years

i don't tend to comment a lot but honestly the fact that people keep getting on you for how to talk to your friends is genuinely frustrating to me, especially since my own friend group has a very similar dynamic(sometimes we get even worse), i get that to people outside those dynamics it might look like bullying but sal, charlie, and jp really continue to make videos with you after years if they really felt like they were being bullied? just feels like people are trying to get dumb twitter clout points for calling out a "bully" that doesn't exist
