Hester, Peanut Tillman, Cutler, Marshall, and Forte, and Urlacher were my childhood.
Well I can’t say Cutler was a positive part of it🤣 agree with everyone else though.
Briggs ? Most importsntly the goat himself Chris Conte
Same here bro same
What about good as Gould baby? 😂
@@kylecrowder4571 Jay Cutler, the only QB in history who's attitude made him a WORSE player. Dude could sling the rock, but always was in a bad mood lmfao. It's like he was working a 9-5 office job that he was really good at, but he hated... Except he was a QB in the NFL.
Tillman was just a nasty player. That fist always found the ball
I remember this game. The last good game before the horrible stretch we had. Shame we missed the playoffs. Btw NFL Throwback; do y’all have any game highlights of the 2008 Bears vs Packers prime time game? That would be awesome to see uploaded here. Thanks for your amazing videos 👍🏽💯
I mean “horrible stretch” usually a 10 win team makes the playoffs, just unlucky that year
The Bears-Vikings prime time game that year was better 🤣😂🤣
How you feel about y’all starting dalton over fields ??
@@whatup6557 it was pretty horrible bro. They started 7-1 and then went 1-5. They lost a hard fought game against Houston, then got destroyed by the 49ers on MNF, had a total meltdown against Seattle at home, let Adrian Peterson run all over them, got shut down by Green bays mediocre defense and let them win the NFC north at soldier field. They went from a 7-1 potential Superbowl contender into a mediocre pretender in 6 games. That season will always be ingrained in my head.
@@declanbrown5056 if i'm not mistaken, we lost cutler to a thumb injury and shit went downhill afterwards
Fun Fact: The bears In 2012 started 7-1 Then ended the year 10-6 and ended up firing head coach lovie Smith.
At this point in the year, it seemed like this Bears team had Super Bowl aspirations like 2010, and unlike 2010 they had a much better offense this time…
Then they collapsed down the stretch and narrowly missed the playoffs even with 10 wins.
This team had more than enough talent to win a Super Bowl (or two...)
And Lovie Smith was a GREAT Head Coach. He and the Defensive Coordinator had this Team playing that "Tampa-2" as good as it could possibly be played.
It really is a shame they didn't win a SB while this team was together.
After this game Bears became the second 7-1 team to miss the playoffs. Sick world we live in.
Defense did everything for us 🤷🏻♂️
If you're able to get 4 forced fumbles on CJ2K you're doing something right
The way Tillman just casually took the ball... he made it look so easy. PEANUT PUNCH.
I will also appreciate Cutler had his moments.
Charles Tillman was showing out! That guy was a special player.
The Charles "peanut power punch tiller" Tillman
I remember them starting 7-1 that year and collapsing towards the end. That led to parting ways with Lovie Smith
Jack Sanborn plays a lot like Urlacher does. Can't wait to see him and Edmunds go off this year.
This Bears team could’ve been special if they didnt choke the second half of the season
The early 2010's bears team was really fun to watch. Cutler breaking his thumb in 2011 screwed their playoff chances, and even though the Bears went 10-6 in 2012, they missed the playoffs and fired Lovie Smith. They've been on a tear ever since....
Peanut punch at its best! I miss watching em play weekly
Punch
Chicago Bears was member NFC Central Division and Houston Oilers was member AFC Central Division from the 70s 80s and early 90s 🏈
Bro you still here?
I wonder if Peanut Tillman finds ways to use the peanut punch in the FBI.
This was the goodbye of the early 2000s bears Tampa 2 defense
man the 2012 Bears team was stacked....Coaching and Cutler ruined this season
12:34 Danggggggggg I do not remember Cutler being able to do THAT. Haven't seen that from a Bear's QB in a hot second
Harsh times for us Titans fans..my how the times have change
When the bears played good ball
I was at this game, I man was it a bad time
matt hasslebecks snap counts are definitely not in english
Lmaooooo
Jesus Christ boys hope we keep fields
Peanut Tillman more forced fumbles than Ray Lewis just saying
any one else hear cutler say "fuck" at 2:09
the amount of people in these comments who thought Cutler was gonna take that defense to the super bowl
gross man would’ve taken a 7-1 team to the playoffs, all i’m saying
Bears were the FIRST team in NFL history to score a rush, pass, defensive, & special teams TD all in ONE QUARTER... if I'm not mistaken.
Great eye on that stat
And they still couldn't do shit to cap off the year 🤣
@@muhfux Shush. 🤣
Was also the 1st 51-20 NFL score
@@muhfuxif not mistaken, Cutler got hurt a few weeks later, causing him to miss a large chunk of the season.
I’m a Green Bay fan and the fact that the Bears let go of Lovie Smith is inexcusable. Fact is, he’s the best head coach the Bears had since Ditka. I mean the Bears were always super tough when he was coach. Multiple good teams, 2 NFC Championship game appearances and a Super Bowl appearance. That’s very impressive.
I’ve always respected the Bears as our longtime rival and I respected Lovie Smith the most. The fact that he walked into Hallas Hall and said “Our number one goal is to beat Green Bay” is very impressive.
His teams always put up a great fight and I loved those games. Those low scoring defensive chess matches of the late 00s and early 10s. Those were some good games and good teams. And yet he was let go after a 10-6 season. I would have said was definitely a top 10 coach in the league while he was with Chicago, and yet he went underpaid and was let go.
I wish him the best now that he’s back in the league but the Bears front office were very foolish to let him go.
I didn't know Houston hired him as the asst. coach/DC. I'm glad he's back in the league
He couldn’t even coach college ball. He was 17-39 at Illinois. That’s inexcusable
Even more impressive when you look at the qbs he had to work with.
It’s really bc lovie was stuck in the past he wouldn’t evolve the offense we were stuck in 2005 and it’s 2012 at that point offenses were getting more high flying a lot of down field play I mean 2011 greenbay team scored so many fucking points no way we’d keep up with lovie around. Lovie was amazing but times were evolving that’s the reason they got rid of him. Lovie had an old school run run run way of doing things hence literally the very next year we had a top 3 offense but no defense only the bears can go through such bullshit.
@@ogskywalker5669 he didn't have a qb to open the playbook. Sexy rexy and Orton lol.
The final year of Brian Urlacher's career, nice that he got a pick 6 in this game, this was a great game for the Bears, thanks for uploading this one
Bears travel so well. Sounds like a home game for them.
For real!
Their fans ran the bars dry in Nashville that weekend.
best fan base seriously
This game was over from the first play. Man an absolute classic of a defensive game. If we had 2013s offense with the 2012 defense we would have won the superbowl multiple times already
The gap in performance between the 2012 and 2013 Bears defenses is likely the biggest in NFL history.
@@LukeR.5117 Urlacher's hole was to big to fill
Bears defense was like the 2006 defense this game.
I remember they were unbelievable the first half of this season, and once cutler got hurt it seemed like the defense went away too
Hehe calm down this was against the Tennessee Titans mind you
@@JBHtown1646 still man, all the fumbles, so fun to watch
This defense lead the league in defensive touchdowns by ALOT the last true defensive bears team we’ve had until 2018.
oh my goodness Bears had an insane team. Forte, Tillman, Marshall, Urlacher, and the list goes on.
Missed the playoffs
Don't forget the elite QB play lol
Except the QB😱
Briggs
@@brandedmcgowan9414 if we had cutler I. 2018 we could’ve won the super bowl
as a kid who grew up loving this team. i’ll never forget this game.
🐻⬇️
It’s been awhile since I’ve been this excited about our Bears. This team has a similar culture as the Urlacher/Lovie days, just modernized.
From 7-1 to ending 10-6 and missing the playoffs at the end of the season. Way to go, Chicago.
2012 bears started off hot at 7-1, then go 3-5 the rest of the way finishing 10-6 and barely missing the playoffs.
And unfortunately they fired Lovie as a result. Such a mistake
Had that been the 2020 season format they make the postseason as the seven seed.
@@williamfiske7347 yep. Had they kept him I think they would’ve learned from their mistake in 2013 and possibly won the division (and then some)
@@brandedmcgowan9414 yep
They were never the same after Kaepernick and the Niners crushed them on Monday Night
That late 2000s early 2010s bears D was amazing
I'm still surprised especially in the rain vs a dome team that they didn't affect that colts offense more with all the pressure on Peyton Manning to win it also...
@@ericsigersmith2831 They quit running the ball in the second half. Big mistake.
@@ericsigersmith2831They did. They forced 3 turnovers on the Colts that game. Too bad Rex Grossman upped them with 5 turnovers of his own.
The Bears looked like a Super Bowl contender that season and didn't even make the playoffs.
With a 10-6 record no less
Charles Tillman was my childhood as a kid, loved seeing him play.
Blinfolded youd think this was a Bears home game lol. Bears fans were deep this game.
NFL Throwback comin in with that 2010s HEAT🔥🥲
I always thought a good commercial for someone would be Tillman strolling down Michigan ave. punching shopping bags out of people's hands. LOL. Maybe a glove company.
Can we get Steelers Vs Chargers 08? 11-10 game. Troy Polamalu was robbed of a TD
Crazy random fact
Brandon Marshall had a long productive career and never played in a single playoff game
Damn!!
That Bears defense was ridiculous in 2012. A shame that they didn't get to the playoffs.
As someone who had the Bears fantasy defense, Tillman helped me to a big win this day
I had Marshall so I was also happy!
Peanut Tillman was my personal favorite Chicago Bear of All Time. Just always got the nose for the football and plucking out of opponents’ hands
He's an FBI agent now
Now yall got Eddie Jackson as the peanut 2.0
@@brandedmcgowan9414 Best Bears Safety In The NFL!
me too
@@brandedmcgowan9414lol
If I had a dime every time the announcers said earl Bennet went to Vanderbilt with Jay cutler I'd be a millionaire. It annoyed me live and it still does.
Such a great Bears team. A whole bunch of Pro Bowl talent
A bears home game
Can you guys post more videos of the bears in orange jerseys?
Whoever makes these titles for some of the NFL RUclips videos is a straight savage.
War damn eagle Auburn
It's also a throwback to when the world was normal.
Thats because tik tok didnt exist
@@brandon9621 The WORLD 🌍 has always been fine. It's PEOPLE! that r F'up!
Not a bears fan (Saints fan here) this bear organization just keeps failing the bears defenses and special teams over the years (two Super Bowl appearances just one Lombardi to show for) with their ineptitude to draft a prolific quarterback to win championships. Jaybird "Can't make the CUTler" and Pee-Rex GROSSman was a "dead body in the dumpster fire" waste of talent on that team. SB XLI would be a better game not matchup had Brees and the Saints played the Colts (like SB XLIV).
You would think they where in Chicago by how many Bears fans there where
Charles “Peanut” Tillman prefers to “peanut punch” 🤛 the hell out of everyone rather than tackle the hell out of everyone to force turnovers!
How awesome are Bears fans ? This sounded like the Bears were at home. The place exploded when the Bears scored.
Titans will beat bears this year 2024 titans defense is better you will see🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Forte is so underrated mans was a beast
Jeffrey Simmons is betterthan Brian 54 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
If I'm not mistaken Brian Urlacher retired after this season.
Titans ate a whole bunch of butterfingers before the game and served up a fresh batch of turnovers during the game
Man i Remember the score being like 28-2 at the ene of the first and my jaw, dropped when i saw that thought they were gonna hang 70 on them lol. They score 28 points in 6 minutes thats, crazy
Blessing and a curse Charles was a god a forcing fumbles. Blessing cause he was good af at it and it worked, and a curse today cause like 75% of corners only try to rip the ball out and end up missing the tackle
I remember watching this game from beginning to end with a friend of mine.
Great times...
Great game. It was still so disappointing when this team lost steam down the stretch and missed the playoffs
Put him in the half of fame 🥜 🥊
3:38 wow, Urlacher picks it off, hurdles an QB and takes it to the 🏠. What a football player..
Titans will win Super Bowl 59 20-0 titanup 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Tim Jennings was underrated
The 2006-2012 Bears should have had one or 2 Super Bowls in that time. That defense was scary every year. And the offense could be somewhat capable lol. Especially this 2012 offense. So many good players on both sides of the ball.
Charles Tillman was a fumble making MACHINE!
Charles (Peanut) Tillman should of won DPOY that season.
I consider myself a man of faith but... CHARLES TILLMAN WITH A HARD PUNCH WITH HIS LEFT HAND
Someone's never wearing their headset ever again.
I love peanut Tillman not my favorite bear ever but he’s up there miss him and his punch
Chris Johnson was fast. That DB was 4 yards in front of him and he ran past him like he was standing still.
The Bears won only 3 of their next 8 games after this and finished the season at 10-6, missing the playoffs. Collapse, anyone?
It wasn’t a collapse, it was collusion. Green Bay layer down in week 17 to the Vikings so that they would face the Vikings in the playoffs the following week instead of the Bears.
Charles Tillman is HOF worthy imo
IMO also
I miss THIS defense...
Tillman was the truth
2:58 If 58 actually would have blocked someone instead of celebrating, Hester would have scored. Took away a return TD
FINALLY SOME BEARS CONTENT
6:24 Someone in the background yells "Watch the fucking game!"
If Phil Emery had only drafted CHANDLER JONES instead of Gomer Pile. This team WOULD have been a serious contender.
such an underrated corner, used to say it all the time before he was known for "the punch" . he got screwed over, should have been multiple 1st team & 2nd team all pros and should of went to more pro bowls. this people is a hall of famer.. appreciate you as a bears fan 🐻⬇️
9 Years Ago
91 tackles, 3 INTs, all 3 returned for a TD, 2 FR & an NFL record 10 FF for Peanut Tillman. Not even a pro bowl. Should’ve been DPOY in 2012.
The thing about urlacher...he was never "fast". And I want to say this was the last year or close to it of his career, and you can see on his int TD just how slow he was. But he ALWAYS made up for it with his razor sharp reflexes and IQ. He was always 10 steps ahead on the field which allowed him to be exactly where he needed to be so often through his career. That and he hit hard as hell.
Love the upload! #Peanut
That takes me back. Peanut being one of the greatest CB's to ever play the game, Forte being a beast, Jamarcus Webb giving up the safety with a penalty on a block he blew. Good times.
Taunting calls today
1:45
11:38
please NFL stop the dumb penalties that shouldn't exist
Such a shame they couldn’t figure out the offense with that defense and special teams. Cutlers would have been a pro bowler every year under shanahan …I thought the Bears offense was at its best under Martz

Ooooh can you add Minnesota Vikings vs Philadelphia Eagles 2004 week 2 MNF , Owens vs Moss 👀
If only Cutler cared. I can't blame him though since the bears never got him an offensive line.
This team would've competed for a championship this year had Cutler not broken his thumb. They were 7-1 when he went down and completely collapsed
