Tyler Blevins, the video game superstar known as "Ninja", revealed this week that he had been diagnosed with melanoma, a form of skin cancer. He announced this over a post on the social media platform X. "Ninja" said that his dermatologist determined he had melanoma after removing a mole on the bottom of his foot during a routine skin check-up. He added that a second dark spot on his foot was also being checked. Following the diagnosis, Belvins urged his fans and followers to get routine check-ups. Melanoma is a rare type of skin cancer that accounts for only about 1% of skin cancer cases but contributes to a large majority of skin cancer deaths.
