J Hope's songs are the musical version of his dance. he's so damn versatile and always, always, leaves me speechless. You said just fine, nobody does things like him! And I love the fact that he had the courage to show everyone a very different side after so many years of being just the energetic and cheerful jhope for everyone. Yes, Hobi was signed as a dancer, but he got kinda thrown in the deep end as a trainee-- the house he was living in was all rappers (including RM, Suga, and Supreme Boi), who were basically constantly having rap battles with each other. RM and Suga taught him how to rap and taught him about music, and he developed his own style pretty early on, although by his own admission he wasn't entirely confident about his own musical abilities (he nearly quit as a trainee to go back to dancing, but JK talked him out of it). He did have plenty of writing and producing credits within BTS before this, but he felt he wasn't really ready to show the world his music on his own until Hope World. I will say, tho... what the other rappers did NOT have to teach him was the way around a beat... the man's got complex rhythm in his very *bones.* You need to watch him freestyle, and you'll see what I mean. (Wait, actually... here: ruclips.net/video/ZPHeedadBdQ/видео.html English subtitles are available on that. It's from last year-- Hobi was up super late and treated ARMY to some freestyling and a chat. (He even took us to the bathroom. Srsly.) His freestyling starts around 20:50 and goes 'til about 44:00)
"Hope World' is a masterpiece, I swear. Every track is amazing, and the glimpse into the heart of our Hope is so precious. "Piece of Piece" and "Equal Sign" are obvious siblings, and is I'm so glad he performed them back to back at Hobipalooza (sorry, spoiler). I knew you'd love this album. Fun fact: Tae had a cameo in the "Daydream" video, although it's hard to see that it's him if you don't know where to look. Sort of like his cameo in "More."
I love watching your reactions. For me I think J Hope raps like he dances. I've watched him freestyle dance in some videos he has posted and I get that same smooth vibe from both. Like he feels the rhythm with his whole body and he has his own unique translation.
I hope you check out Blue side full version. Jhope is one of the most unique sounding artists ever. Both his production style and his voice are uncommon in mainstream pop. He’s called the golden hyung for a reason 😌. Mans can rap, dance, sing, choreograph, write, produce, compose songs and on top of all that he’s got the best personality and he’s handsome asf 🥵
I can't wait for you to react to the Hobipalooza! I love both of his albums and Piece of Peace is one of my favorites from him. Watching him perform it live on t.v as well as, Baseline and Hangsang, at Hobipalooza was definitely an experience. Loved this reaction, thank you!💜
I remember before j-hope debuted with BTS as a group he first appeared in a collab with Jo Kwon's song called "ANIMAL" they performed this together in a korean television and still up here on RUclips. (You better check this out.) They remain friends and supporting each other untill now.
I also recommend listening to Jaime Vu... and the song Mama live he did for his mom... a lot of background vocals are Jhope in many of their albums he's an all rounder like the full group all are amazing... and hopefully you watch airplane and hansang
Jhope is my favourite artist out there right now. As you mentioned, he is just so unique!! His solo songs are my favourite and he is in my top 2 most listened to artist on Spotify. It's a shame that he is probably the lease popular member of BTS (because of his looks, which doesn't make sense because he is so beautiful but whatever I guess). I wish people give him attention and see how freaking talented this guy is 🔥🔥
As for Hobi, himself, he is truly one of a kind, in so many ways. You are right. His sound is so very unique. In the sense that it is different, but also unique to who he is more specifically as an artist as well. How can I put this? You know how everyone has a signature that is unique to just them, stylistically, etc... Well I feel like his music itself is very unique to just him in a similar way, he has specific tendencies, traits, of course style, commonalities, etc... So when people were saying about how different "Jack in the Box" sounded, I personally didn't think it was as different as some made it out to be. Don't get me wrong, it is rather different in many ways. But I felt like if you looked and listened well enough it wasn't all that completely different. You could still listen to it and know it was Hobi, as the artist we already know him to be. Hope that makes sense.
loving this reaction! I'm still on Daydream as I type this, but your comments about J Hope being different - you are totally right. I love the vocal line and the other rappers, but my bias is J Hope because I find him fascinating. His versatility is amazing, his voice and genre very unique. Also, I am telling you, the boy can SING sing! It you listen to his solo song Mama (check a live version), you'll hear the power in his voice. I think if he really worked on his voice, he could really do something amazing.
I love jhope he is my sunshine he is my ultimate bias he keeps me happy knowing jimin is my bias jhope is my all around ultimate bias if not jimin them two together omg it's just like two peas in a pod.
So glad you’re reacting to my bias, J-Hoooooope!!! I love his professionalism, his beauty, his wisdom, his writing style, his dance and rap talent, his silliness, his courage and his scaredy self! He’s a second leader to the group in my opinion, but he receives from them as well as gives energy to them. I wish nothing but good things and love for him and pray for his health and safety too especially when he goes to serve his nation even more in the military 💜🥰🕺🏻🤩🐿😎☀️🌸
I think Hobi is a pretty skilled vocalist. He has good control over his voice and he has a good range. He just doesn't use it much. The Colt Nava channel has a playlist about Hobi's vocals and one of the videos is called something like, when Army mistook Hobi's vocals as JK's, where Hobi was singing pretty high. He also uses his head voice or falsetto in "Equal Sign" (not sure the right term for it). Namjoon once praised Hobi's ability in creating melodies in his live.
RE: Who made the beats for this mixtape 🌈 Hobi produced every track on Hope World, alongside Pdogg and Supreme Boi! Also, I don't know if you'll be able to react to Hobipalooza as a livestream, other reactors got blocked over it 😩 Maybe there's a way around it though!
Hopeworld is a masterclass in vibe. Re vocals: Hobi has vocals that can sound like Jimin or JK if you aren't paying close attention but we only hear that side of his voice when he is not formally performing. He has a style that he sticks to as JHope but his range is greater than what we get to see officially. For reference on a Vlive he sings a line of Jimin's Lie and sounds fantastic. Also during In The Soop he is just sitting by the fire pit singing and it sounds like JK at first.
Hobi, Hobi, Hobi, Hobi,,,,,,,,,, Yeahhhhh we will be ready. A live stream is perfect!!! Oh you are gonna love Hobipallooza. Mi favorite band for decades was U2 and Bono didn´t sing at all but he was an amazing musician and performer. Hobi has such a beautiful unique melodic style. And we know he signs beautifuly in many BTS songs.
I really like Jhope's music because it is different, his style is about riding all the little beats and changes within the music like no one I've ever heard before. He brings in the dancer in him to the melodies and cadences. Because of his energy his music makes the body move, even his songs on Jack in the Box which are "darker" than the more cheerful Hope World. And let's not forget his lyrics which are inspiring.
People have loved Opera for 100s of year even though they do not speak Italian. Bts has had way of making the world fall in love with their music even when we don't speak Korean. It is remarkable how quickly the fact their singing in Korean becomes familiar. They are extremely talented.
Hope World is such a fun album, a full personality of Jhope. It’s so cool! Some of my favorite songs on this album is Airplane, POP, and Blue Side. There’s things I want to say for airplane and Blue Side but I’ll do that in the next video, but POP was such a joy to see him perform. “I wish I could be a piece of peace” LIKE HES SUCH A SUNSHINE BOY WHO GIVES GOLDEN RETRIEVER VIBES but stan hobi guys 💜
He did not rap when he joined BTS. He learned from Suga and RM which makes it so special and amazing. He co produced his own album with PDogg. You might recognoze most of these songs from Lollapallooza.
That's not true, Jack in the Box has a lot of different Producers, Basstracks, Pdogg, the Guy that produced Run, Supreme Boi. Hobi is composing and writing his own Songs.
JHope the most hard working, professional, creative and very serious, detailed in everything he does. To be honest, prefer this Hopeworld mixtape which includes, Daydream, Ego Lets Dance etc .. love the vibes
I totally agree with you there. Tho technically Jhope isn't able to hit high notes like a vocalist, but he does something with his voice like he twists it or adds like natural effects to his voice that makes him so unique and his songs so unique that it's so refreshing to hear from an industry who literally sounds 'the same'.
Glad I found your videos,Love your honest reactions.Bring your friend back, loved his first time reaction listening to IDOL. Hobi is the best!!! Love his energy.Cant wait for you to reaction to Jack n the Box. ITS STRAIGHT 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💜💜💜💜💜
Hoseok is very good at writing songs. Especially the works he quoted while writing the lyrics are admirable. I think his father may have contributed a lot to Hoseok's writing such excellent lyrics because Hoseok's father is a literature teacher.
Love your channel. Once you listen to Jack in the Box in full, then please react to his 1 hour live solo concert at Lollapollooza from July 2022. It’s one of the best things I’ve ever seen.
After full Hope world do the other members full mixtapes aswell. Start when RM, and Agusd D. Then Jack in the box, Mono and D-2. Also RM’s new Album “RM-2” is coming out at the end of this November as well
Ok surely the last suggestion, the new special RUN BTS eps. They are utterly hilarious. You don’t have to complete the old eps to watch these. They are freaking awesome. Like trust me I couldn’t stop laughing for even a minute and I’m not even exaggerating.
Yes Hobi joined BTS because he was an amazing dancer and how well he understood rhythm. He then learned how to rap, produce, and write while in Bighit… He does produce at lot of his own music but the in house producers do help and produce as well…
I absolutely loveee your reactions cause they are so genuine, and just like you I’m learning about bts too. Alsoooo a last suggestion before i put an entire list on suggestions under this video itself, PTD on stage, las vegas. Those shows were sooooo good. Something like got into them cause it was crazy good. They were the first full on concerts after covid so ig they went all out. It’s just so good.
Hope world is really great!!! Also you should listen to chicken noodle soup, a collab with Becky G. As a bonus you could see BTS singing and dancing to that song, its very funny.
I don’t know if he did these beats, but on a Vlive once he said how RM and Suga were writing lyrics, so he started making beats. I believe this was when he talked about thei trainee days.
This album is so so good. Honestly I just need Peace of Peace and Daydream as songs and messages in my life so badly some days. Not just catchy but the meaning (like so much BTS stuff) is just incredibly impactful. JHope is someone I admire so much. Just the way he must be the most comforting person, because of the fairly excessive videos of all the members clinging to him for comfort or to get energy. All that comes out in his music. And yes he dances along a beat with lyrical flow and musical flow that is absolutely unique and not something I hear from anyone else it’s like street dancing along a songs melody.
My favorite songs on HopeWorld: Hope World, Piece of Peace, Daydream (underrated in my opinion), and Airplane (when it is in the car)….Hansang (live) and Blue Side (live)…
No way I'm scrolling past a Hope World reaction. Thank you for pointing out what's often overlooked: Hobi's intelligence. His music is a sophisticated sonic smorgasbord. Never boring. Add to that his dancing chops, and you've got a next-level talent. (And you've got a new subscriber.)
Too bad they cut you off before blue side. Always will be one of my top 10 favorite songs. The only problem with it is it is too short, luckily he released a longer version later
Jhope did not rap when he join Bighit Entertainment , he learn't to rap while there, RM and Suga trained him really well .. he was suppose to be a dancer singer but he switched places with V .. I don't know why but they did .. Jhope has this twang in his voice .. he can make you feel the emotion in all his verses .. I just love it .. Jhope is actually my bias wrecker .. he is special just like my bias (Jin) you know👍🥰🥰👍👍💜💜💜💜💜💜 PS what you were saying during Daydream should not offend anybody .. you just spoke facts man .. he has an amazing voice different from Jimin or JK or Jin for that matter 👍👍🥰🥰🥰💜💜
He never 'switched' places with V, I'm honestly not sure where that rumor even came from. J-Hope joined BTS when it was still only a rap/minimum dancing group. J-Hope was a very popular in the Kpop world before he was even a trainee, and well known by lots of idol companies because he competed in a lot of dance competitions they hosted at the time. He was one of the three, with RM and Suga, who decided to stay when they decided to become an idol group instead. V joined when they were looking for idol group members and singers, he joined after Jungkook and Jin.
@@ipurpleu1668 This Hobi was already a trained Rapper, when Tae Joined 2 years later. Hobi trained with iron, Supreme Boi and the OG BTS, as well. The Trainees of OG BTS left when they changed the Project, Hobi, Yoongi and Joon stayed, when they did the Casting for the Vocalist, Hobi was already Rapping, Producing and Writing. Hobi was also known as a Hip Hop/Battle Dancer, Smile Hoya.
Hobi in the future with Jack in the box-shoeing off his high notes. Hobi came to BTS singing and dancing and he was in a musical when he was a younger. He really can sing well. You're right about the high note thing as he can't sing high for a long time. He can sing high though and it's beautiful
I Don't know what happened to my comment I just posted. I will try to post it again. *Hey @JohnReavesLive - I really hope you see this post.* First, yes, he was signed for his dance skills. He didn't rap when he started. He learned as he went, with the help from the experienced rapper in the group - aka RM and SUGA. Then he developed his own style. Brasstracks does a lot of his beats, and PDOGG, Supreme Boi, but also J-Hope does his own as well. He is involved in every aspect of his music, and craft. The main reason I wanted to comment was to let you know that Jack In The Box and Hobipalooza have fully subtitled videos for the official visualizers of the album and the Hobipalooza performance, thanks to 'Enjoy BTS More' (I keep her on my browser). I will link those for you, and I highly suggest you use the links. I hope this doesn't get deleted. J-Hope probably can't reach the high notes like V or Jimin, but I think he has the best deep notes after RM. And I totally agree with you, Hobi is an extremely original and intelligent artist who writes his own lyrics and also wrote many iconic tunes for BTS and for his solo work. J-Hope is a great dancer, an interesting rapper and singer, a capable songwriter, a fashion icon and a wonderful person.

About his voice.. I totally agree, and totally love his creativity in all he does
hobi is amazing.. he really know what his strength.. and he know how to expose it well.. 😍😍
Yoongi taught Hope how to rap, their bond is so so special. Thank you for the reaction on our Sunshine 🥰
Es sumamente talentoso el gran HoSeok, amamos a Hobi 💜
He did not rap when he joined BTS. He learned from Suga and RM which makes it so special and amazing. He co produced his own album with PDogg. You might recognoze most of these songs from Lollapallooza.
That's not true, Jack in the Box has a lot of different Producers, Basstracks, Pdogg, the Guy that produced Run, Supreme Boi. Hobi is composing and writing his own Songs.
Thank you for your reaction! I love both Hobi's styles, the white style like this mixtape shows and the more dark one like Jack ITB. 💜
Hobi is amazing 💜💜💜
HOPE WORLDS is a masterpiece ❤❤❤
JHope the most hard working, professional, creative and very serious, detailed in everything he does. To be honest, prefer this Hopeworld mixtape which includes, Daydream, Ego Lets Dance etc .. love the vibes
I totally agree with you there. Tho technically Jhope isn't able to hit high notes like a vocalist, but he does something with his voice like he twists it or adds like natural effects to his voice that makes him so unique and his songs so unique that it's so refreshing to hear from an industry who literally sounds 'the same'.
Yes this!
So glad your doing these. You'll have so much more enjoyment of Hopipalooza!
Hobi is Amazing 🥰 I can't describe him In few Words .
There are two official MVs from this mixed tape. The pictures are from those MVs. Daydream and Airplane pt.2.
yay!!! I love every single song in Hope World 🥰 I love Hobi style of rapping 💜
thank you for this!!!! 😍💜
Can't wait you to react to Hobipalooza. You can definitely see how besides vocal, rapping and dance he has feral stage presence. He owns the stage!
Love this! Been waiting so long for you to do Lollapalooza!!!
I'm so excited for your whole journey through Hobi's music and his Lolla performance 💜💜💜
Did you watch jhope at lollapalooza? It was awesome!
He did several of these at his Lallapaloosa concert.......Please react if you haven't
Ah you may look into the MV for DayDream 👌💜
Favorite song from Hope World is Ego and from Jack In The Box is More. But you get a little of JITB in Hope World.
If I'm recalling correctly, every track on Hope World has J-Hope listed either first or second as the writer and producer on every track.
Yes Hobi joined BTS because he was an amazing dancer and how well he understood rhythm. He then learned how to rap, produce, and write while in Bighit…
He does produce at lot of his own music but the in house producers do help and produce as well…
HobiPalloozaaaaaaaa!!! 💜
Hahaha... Just relistening to Hopeworld earlier today ❤️...now again with you
Loooove P.O.P so much
I absolutely loveee your reactions cause they are so genuine, and just like you I’m learning about bts too.
J-HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPE LETS GO
Thanks for your Reaktion 💜 💜 💜 💜 💜 💜 💜 piece of Peace
Gracias por la reacción a mi bias j hopeee te falto egooo seria bueno que reacciones a lollapaloza una presentación espectacular de j hopeee

I love his bright, warm and colorful voice 🤩💜
Jehoooooooooooop *in suga's voice*
Nuestro bello solecito es tan talentoso y su música es realmente hermosa!!!!! Te amo Hobi!!!!💜🌞💜
1 Verse and Remedy / Jamais Vu /...two tracks are a MUST listen ...JHope is amasing artist!Just untouchable..
I love his music.
Loveee your reaction 🎈💯💯
Listening to this on my way to work. Thanks for the good vibes before I start my day.
I looooove Hope World is soooo amazing. he's such a good musician
I don’t know if he did these beats, but on a Vlive once he said how RM and Suga were writing lyrics, so he started making beats. I believe this was when he talked about thei trainee days.
Hope World is my cleaning the house music! Never tire of it.
Pls react jack in the box full album
Jhope did not rap when he join Bighit Entertainment , he learn't to rap while there, RM and Suga trained him really well .. he was suppose to be a dancer singer but he switched places with V .. I don't know why but they did .. Jhope has this twang in his voice .. he can make you feel the emotion in all his verses .. I just love it .. Jhope is actually my bias wrecker .. he is special just like my bias (Jin) you know👍🥰🥰👍👍💜💜💜💜💜💜
PS what you were saying during Daydream should not offend anybody .. you just spoke facts man .. he has an amazing voice different from Jimin or JK or Jin for that matter 👍👍🥰🥰🥰💜💜
I love hope-world Daydream is my favorite from that album ❤
I will also add his interview about each track.

Jhope started rapping after he joined big hit. Rm and Suga helped him find his style.
My faves tracks from Hopeworld are Baseline and Airplane ✈️ Hangsang is a vibe and P.O.P. just lives in my head rent free 🎶 Hope the rest of your video gets unblocked!!
React to "ego"
Bass-line is one of my favs 💜 someone on RUclips put it in a longer lube so we can enjoy it longer 😁.
About the blocked vid... why not use the original links from Hybe? Or do they not have subtitles? 🤔 I cant read them on your videos anyways bc i watch on phone and they are way too small 😁, i just enjoy the music 💜
Yaaaaay😍🙌💜💜💜🙏
Love this album!
Hope World es un mixtape tan bello
J-Hope probably can't reach the high notes like V or Jimin, but I think he has the best deep notes after RM. And I totally agree with you, Hobi is an extremely original and intelligent artist who writes his own lyrics and also wrote many iconic tunes for BTS and for his solo work. J-Hope is a great dancer, an interesting rapper and singer, a capable songwriter, a fashion icon and a wonderful person.
Thank you for your reaction! Can you please tune in to J-Hope (of BTS) new album “Hope on the Street”, out this Friday March 29 featuring his new single NEURON and a Jungkook feature. There will also be a full jhope version of On the Street.
And you know that Daydream has an MV?
I am here with you on your journey to Hobipalooza.
