REALLY? No mention of coaches, fans, trainers, parents, god, each other... Just basically, " we barely had time to get ready and we look pretty", then " I won't cuss and have a good night". They definitely deserve to go off, but I will admit I lost some respect for a team the world looks at, wants to be like and represents us. Need more class and honor those that got you there.
@John Hannig I totally agree. Except for the fact that maybe 15 seconds or so into Carli Lloyd’s speech, she thanked their “followers and supporters around the world” and said that she was “super proud of all of these 22 fabulous ladies” (obviously referring to her teammates). So maybe you just decided to watch the first and last ten seconds of their acceptance speech?
