I've been really liking tactics in this deck. It's a decent board breaker going second, and going first you can proc it for free but using fiend to flip one of the sets during your main phase, and getting yourself either a draw 2 or a hand rip. If you use fiend to flip fiend then you can rip 2 from your opponent, and then since you're linking away the monster newly specialed to your side you get to keep a master on board to quick effect flip the other set if your opponent tries to avoid it. Also lets you proc kashtira unicorn, so an easy combo that can come up is flip a monster on your opponents board using fiend while unicorn is on board and you're getting one out of the extra and one out of their hand with a tactics. Just food for thought.
Tactics thrust is a really good card in this deck, but because it's still really expensive and getting a reprint next month, i'm waiting for the tins to get some
Yea that’s true, but it will slow them down. And that’s if they have oak in hand already. I was able to banish a poplar and made it harder for them to combo. It’s all about slowing your opponent down so you can live lol. But those decks are just strong so 🤷🏽♂️
Really cool list, the Knightmare griffon into a face-down is really clever, i personally run it with vernusylphs, maybe you wanna try it out, anyways, good work
@@neospacianmigz it's a good option, but the problem of vernusylph engine is that you're locked on earth monsters for the turn, so you basically can't use your extra deck or kash unicorn, i think that the cost of not having a toolbox extra deck or the gryphin lock just for more special summoning isn't worth it
@@neospacianmigz Tbh, what it does is: if you get handtrapped, you "at least do something", I run 3 duck, 1 fairy, 1 bunny, and honestly the bunny is incredible in the deck. What I usually do is use 2 monsters for silouhat rabbit, effect, then lock into earths bring back 2 and do IP cuz lock doesnt matter in that case
So have you had a situation come up for your locals in which the opponent Tribute Set a monster to their field while you controlled Dungeon? I'm only asking because I want to hear feedback from your local judge to understand what their opinion would have been under that situation. Each judge everywhere would probably rule it a different way, but its still nice to know. I understand that in the TCG a "Set" is not a Summon, in the OCG it is considered a Summon, and because the TCG has historically been inaccurate with how they translate their cards (Noble Knight Custennin for example), how was your locals handling this specific interaction?
It didn’t really come up in any of my matches to be honest, but that is a really good question. It seems to me that they can tribute set since it’s not a normal summon. I could be wrong though.
Dungeon specifically reads "normal summon" so there is no issue with a tribute set or , to be more specific, with any kind of setting. This should be the same in the OCG since even there setting is not considered as normal summoning. Take for example Red-Eyes Fusion, in which case after activating it you could still set.
@@danielemacheda4493 The OCG uses it as a Set still counts as a "form" of Normal Summon. Its just differs here in the TCG as we don't have it that way. I'm just pointing this out until the OCG gets these cards, that, Dungeon has a chance of being mistranslated because the TCG is historically known for fuck ups with their translations.
@@ShadowMario97 oh ok, i thougth otherwise, will double- check my soruces. I guess judges will apply the TCG ruling (since we have a TCG exclusive archetype) until proven otherwise.

does the deck change in anyway post rage rage of the abyss?
Yes it does. I’ll have a deck profile up next week
14:11 they’ll just bring the ash back with oak. And yubel field spell would just float

I’ve seen that archetype thrown around how good is it?

Yea I understand this. Also they are pretty pricey at the moment too so not worth it to run them.
Do you have like a replay or something of it?
What sleeves are you using on the extra deck?
Pristine Protection Sleeves. Lavender Color
How do feel about Fucho bird, it has saved me many times when Tenpai have three + hand traps.
Definitely worth it for tenpai. I would take out the lyrylusc ensemble robin for it
Wait the gy effect of mimighoul room is a quick effect???
It’s a trap card so yea
