By Allah I am a born Muslim originally from Somalia and now aged 60+ and in the early 90s during my university days in India I was blessed to help nearly a dozen from Kenya embrace Islam. From early on, specifically mid 80s, I was exposed to debates about comparative religions through Sheikh Ahmed Deedat first and then Dr Zakir Naik. I have also read with great fervour many prominent people who embraced Islam. And to this day stories about people's conversions to Islam pique my curiosity and interest. I always pray for their steadfastness. Brother Malik, the way you narrated your first experience with the Muslim prayer and how you felt about it brought tears to my eyes and made feel compelled to write comment. May Allah bless you and preserve you and increase you in knowledge, wisdom and may strengthen your convictions and may Allah use you for the spread of His Deen (the true way of life).

You have the unique Islam that Our Prophet ﷺ taught us and our Sahaba ra followed. You're in touch with your surroundings. You understand our purpose here and it reflects in your speech. We have many born Muslims who have been deprived of Islam as in they don't know it. It wasn't taught to their parents nor to them. I'm hoping to reach out to them insha'Allah. Because the games that are played in Position's of Power and Dawah have left them straying and even leaving Islam altogether. Our Masjids have failed to protect our communities from inside and outside harm. The doors were sealed shut for the suffering. Umar ibn khattab ra would kick the closed doors of governors if they were closed to the public and their needs. I'm not saying the masjids Doors need to be kicked. But certainly the committee members need a wake up call from the public. Prevent government agents are there to make sure Masjids stay placid. Detached from the Ummah. Also how are our children's Imaan and hope for the future? The Muslim children are all our children. Just because we didn't give birth to them. It dont mean they are not ours. They also are an extention of our Ummah. They are the future. We forgot what a family means in Islam. Insha'Allah it gets better for us all. Ameen

When we put our faces to the ground, we say subahana rabiallalla. Which means all praise is due to the the one most high, whilst simultaneously putting ourselves in the lowest possible position, the most noble part of our body, our face. The forehead and nose touches the ground.
