For sure!!! I have caught some real beasts throwing big streamers in high water. I really wish I had some stained water right now. My streams are clear and dropping right now. Time to downsize my rig.
I will be starting up late in year after pa archery..End of Novemeber into new year..So thats the way I have set things up....wet Nymphs..What ever is good for late..
will be my first fly set up ,will be fishing the Little Schuylkill River Pennsylvania for trout,,,give me some tips on set up and what too use,,,will purchase fly"s from you
David Howie it’s a great set up for beginners because it comes with everything but the flies. I would also maybe pick up an extra leader or two like a 9ft 5X leader and maybe some tippet material, maybe 3lb and 4 lb mono, to add a n to your leader as it gets shorter. As you learn and get betterthen switch to floro. That will cover you for dries, wets, and indicator nymphing. If you’re looking at getting into euro nymphing then you will want a 20 ft leader. When you’re ready let us know and we will suggest some flies based on how you want to fish.
Bobber the Clown one of my go to muddy water nymphs is a peccary jig. In general I tend to go dark in color it shows up better to the fish. Also "trash flies" like squirmies and mops. Other good nymphs are perdigon, blow torches and stragglers.

Great way to fish instead of sitting home waiting for the water to clear up. Caught lots of fish this way, just another technique in the arsenal
Great job! Love the Maxxon Outfitters gear!
very cool video. gonna have to check out that rod combo!
I like when the water is muddy or murky. I have caught my biggest fish that way. Even high a little bit works well.
