Hayasaka doing things just to mess with Kaguya is one of the best parts of this show. She really is like a sibling who enjoys toying with her sister to get a rise.
13:45 thank you for acknowledging this. It's basically what the show is about. That's why it's way more than just a silly comedy. You'll see more as the show goes on.
Hayasaka has come close to beating Kaguya in many 'best character polls' for this show, so you're definitely not alone thinking she's one of the best characters! This episode being continuous is nice, there's more and more of that as the show goes on!
@@KenjaTimu chika becomes annoying over time. Although anime chika is more likable than manga chika because her va does a great job. Also kaguya gets a lot of character development while chika stays as the comic relief.
@@KenjaTimu Chika is actually polarizing for some fans! Some absolutely love her and think she's the best on the show, but some thing she's a bit too much and gets annoying by constantly being in the way and all.
@OhPieDyeSki Chika is a fun comic relief character and all she's easily the least interesting of the main cast. She's just a wildcard and doesn't have much depth.
The best part it just keeps getting better and better. There SO MUCH material that still hasn't been animated yet. Season 4 will come out in the spring and that's just the halfway point. There's STILL 2 more seasons to animate. THEN there's Oshi No Ko. The manga author who did this ALSO did Oshi No Ko. Wants even more amazing that the manga author Aka Akasaka would draw Love is War THEN write Oshi No Ko chapter most of the time in the SAME WEEK. Even now with Love is War manga over, he's writing two series most of the time in the same week. Oshi No Ko and Renai Daikou (Love Agency) again most of the time in the same week. Aka is a content creating machine.
I would say Chika's 2nd strategy was similar to counting cards in poker, it's not technically cheating, but it is unfair and goes against the spirit of the game.
Counting cards is blackjack not poker. It doesn't help you win either it just tells you when you are more likely to win so you can change the size of your bets. If you walk into a casino and play blackjack without counting cards you're a fool. I didn't play blackjack I played poker. I won more than I lost and I'll never play again:)
@@KenjaTimu I think people understand my point regardless. And counting cards is possible in both, just different methods and more common in blackjack.
Hayasaka and Chika are easily my favourite female characters of the series. Loved seeing Hayasaka in disguise internal monologuing for the President to now chicken out after he finally arrived at the house.
This reaction made me wish there could be an episode of this show where all the season 3 student characters we've gotten to know are trapped in the school overnight unable to leave because of a storm, flooding all the school grounds or something. Just a super long bottle episode for the whole runtime, showing the hi-jinx they get up to, the interpersonal conflicts, etc. Maybe there's a leak somewhere and some of them need to go off and try and stop the school from getting damaged. Maybe some of them decide to wander off by themselves to have some special time in an empty classroom. Maybe some of them are bored and play a game together that reveals some hidden truths. Maybe they tell spooky camping stories to pass the time and Chika goes crazy. Maybe there's somebody else not from their extended group still in the school and lurking about causing mischief, causing paranoia and accusations. Have the power go out, and light the whole thing with flashlights and the occasional flash of lightning as they break off into little groups to search for the cause of all the mysteries. I just want a Halloween episode, dangit!
I’ve only caught up to Season 2 as of yet, but I think it would be either Kaguya who confesses first, or both of them will simultaneously in some manner, because of a few reasons. One, the name of the show is Kaguya-sama. The story seems to be more about her too, how she tries to make the president confess somehow. Starting from the Ice Queen or whatever to finishing on that would be kinda poetic. Next, even status wise Shinomiya is much, much ahead of Shirogane. She is the most versatile talented student and the daughter of the owner of one of if not the biggest conglomerate. Shirogane only has his academic brilliance to go by at a social standpoint. It would make sense that she confesses to him which would make them stand as equals. Lastly, it has been such a good story that it doesn’t seem probable to end on the cliché drama-ish peasant-boy-confesses-to-rich-girl and she accepts him. Anyway, that’s just what I felt about it. Keep up the good work!
@@atharwamalawade259 the what?! I thought there was ample source material for many more seasons. And I thought it went without saying that the confess would be at the very end. You might’ve piqued my interest a hundredfold. Don’t say anything more though, it could be a spoiler.
@@Mischievalrous Well, the season 3 and the movie is exactly halfway through the manga. The story going forward is gonna be slightly different, more higher stakes and way better than the current arcs.

Those two fucking words are Shirogane's Kryptonite.
