People like to ignore the fact that Jessica is in a survival show which sings Mandarin songs, a language that is foreign to her. And yet through her hard work, she was able to advance through the rounds and compete against some of the best singers out there who are fluent in Mandarin. Imagine if the other singers had to do the same thing but in Korea; I doubt any of them would have done as well as Jessica.
Jessica has come along way and this far. She doesnt need to use the name SNSD to promote herself anymore. This is all our memories of her. She now has many nicknames, "Je-shi-ka" ,"meow meow", " xiao lao wi" , "ka gor", " ka huang"😂
