Have you guys sorted out to make the Hardware flow control working yet? Xon/Xoff doesnt work on many older machines.. and requires proper hardware flow control - Like older Okumas.. I have one of these boxes sitting in a box. useless.. ended up getting a MOXA Ethernet to Serial device instead.
@@ViktorMiller-SMQST It does not as the device does not support RTS/CTS signals - ergo hardware flow control, it only supports software flow control (Xon/Xoff) and older machines don't rely on the sending of character to start and stop the transfer. Its not a matter of what port your using its a matter of how many wires your device supports.. Hardware flow control uses 5 wires.. TxD/RxD, RTS/CTS and Signal ground... while xon/xoff only uses 3, TxD,RxD and signal ground.

IF you machine have DB25 port, absolutely it will work .
