Hey nice video (from mtbr)! Excellent build components. I was going to ask if you ride really chunky or gnarly terrain for the Fox36 but I suppose that helps with a higher weight rider as well? I love the Tonka truck colorway. I have a 2021 and am surprised to see for nearly all the exact components (22 has a Pike rather than Fox 34) the S build went up from $5k to $6k essentially. Yikes.
Thanks. Yeah, pricing is starting to get crazy on bikes. As for the 36, you hit the nail on the head last time I had a Fox 34 was on a tallboy and it just felt too flexy. Haven’t had any issues with the 36. It’s my go to fork.
hey wondering if you have had exp on the older (2020) model to compare to the newer lower link VPP? riding the AL 2020 and really enjoy the quick/poppy of it but had a question, or 100, about the new geo. longer/slacker? hows that working for ya? granted, again, i do hope you have exp on the older to compare.. thanks man
I didn’t ride the AL version, but I had the CC version of it. The newer suspension feels much softer. It feels more playful vs more cross country if that makes sense. I think I was faster on the old version though, and it was definitely lighter before they moved the suspension to the bottom. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching
@@pricesride1186 thanks for the reply...due to most folks feedback that ive chatted with, which hasnt been the most positive, im thinking about moving from the 5010 to a transition...the Scout. thanks man and keep posting vids.
That's a sick build!
Thanks. It took forever to get some of the parts in with the supply chain issues during covid. Thanks for watching!
