Hello Brother, Im a european revert and I agree with you totally. My wife and some friends born muslim but it might seems i overdo things but they just dont understand the miracle of shahada and total acceptance.
Wisdom comes from Allah (Subhanahu wa Taalaa) .... and that comes after being sincere with Allah (Subhanahu wa Taalaa) and seeking Islamic knowledge (یُؤۡتِی ٱلۡحِكۡمَةَ مَن یَشَاۤءُۚ وَمَن یُؤۡتَ ٱلۡحِكۡمَةَ فَقَدۡ أُوتِیَ خَیۡرࣰا كَثِیرࣰاۗ وَمَا یَذَّكَّرُ إِلَّاۤ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلۡأَلۡبَـٰبِ) (Allah gives wisdom to whom He wills, and whoever has been given wisdom has certainly been given much good. And none will remember except those of understanding.) [Surah Al-Baqarah 269] And Prophet Mohammed (salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: "من يرد الله به خيرا يفقه في الدين" .... meaning "whomever Allah wants good for, will make him seek knowledge of the deen".

@@aligu7401 i understood. once my country Malaysia was invaded by the communist party...[ Alhamdulillah Allah did not allowed that when they only last for 10days only.]...the whole nation lived in terror. the communists are anti-god and continue to terrorizing people. Our military were forced all out to sweep them off for decades. thousands of people and armies were killed and missing untraceable. lots of them also live handicapped including my uncle who had his leg amputated caused by the booby trap in the jungle. So it is understandable when the communist party rule the modern China.
Allahu.. Let's pray for the Muslim in China especially Uyghur for ehat the government has done to them. May Allah protect them and make them among people of Jannah. Ameen.

MaashaaLlah, I agree that perhaps we are born in a Muslim family but for being a true Muslim, we need to obtain our iman ourselves through learning and thinking about his creatures (coz these creatures like humans, universe, and life are something we can see or study that prove the existence of their creator which is Allah). So later we don't say "I'm Muslim because my parents are Muslims (and this is what we usually call as born Muslim)." But I think it's not knowledge that comes to us but as we are aware that we have a lack of understanding about Islam, we start opening ourselves to knowledge. I don’t really get how or why people compare muslims through their race or whether or not they are a revert cuz like, there are religious reverts and religious Muslims from Muslim families, you can’t just say one group is better then the other when the group is made of many kinds of people
We have same story.. I was born in Muslim family but i become practising Muslim when i was 18..(now I'm 25) i took shahada too.. because i thought like you i never took sahada.... I research first, about 2 years, read Quran's meaning... study little bit some major religions... than took sahada.. I even start learning Arabic too.. i know how to read Arabic also know some grammar rules and words meaning but i can't speak.

Alhamdulillah. I had similar experience in finding Islam as the Truth. I was born in practicing Muslim family and yet was not knowledgeable nor was I curious enough to seek for the understanding in deeper level to the point that I stop practicing due to my doubts and questions regarding the teaching of Islam. However, I do believe in Allah and prophet Muhammad s.a.w. At the end of last year I started practicing salah after truly convinced in the authenticity of Qur'an, and it took me 10 years of questioning, reflecting, learning and contemplating till the answers came to me little by little, all thanks to Allah's mercy and guidance. You are right, brother Isa, I too believe that the answers to everything lies in Qur'an and I am grateful to Allah for the guidance that He has bless us with. May Allah continuously increase us in knowledge, in sha Allah. May Allah guides us all and forgives our shortcomings. May Allah keep us on the right path, may Allah accept our ibadah, may Allah grants us the goods in this world and in the Hereafter. Amin.

He must do research though about the born Muslims because ALLAH said all humans are Muslims because we agreed to it and said, "Balaa" when ALLAH gathered the whole human souls HE created. So, he's wrong on that one. We're all humans and everyone makes mistakes

Alhamdulillah. I had similar experience in finding Islam as the Truth. I was born in practicing Muslim family and yet was not knowledgeable nor was I curious enough to seek for the understanding in deeper level to the point that I stop practicing due to my doubts and questions regarding the teaching of Islam. However, I do believe in Allah and prophet Muhammad s.a.w. At the end of last year I started practicing salah after truly convinced in the authenticity of Qur'an, and it took me 10 years of questioning, reflecting, learning and contemplating till the answers came to me little by little, all thanks to Allah's mercy and guidance. You are right, brother Isa, I too believe that the answers to everything lies in Qur'an and I am grateful to Allah for the guidance that He has bless us with. May Allah continuously increase us in knowledge, in sha Allah. May Allah guides us all and forgives our shortcomings. May Allah keep us on the right path, may Allah accept our ibadah, may Allah grants us the goods in this world and in the Hereafter. Amin.
