    Running Time 17:22
PRODUCER: JAY LURIE © 2023 Jay Lurie all rights reserved
    PART FOUR CONTENTS:
Sports journalist, Bob Snyder and Jim Ridlon provide insight into the legend of the Syracuse 44s…Jim Brown…Ernie Davis. And Floyd Little.
    OVER VIEW:
In this seven-part series we revisit the days of Syracuse University athletics before the Carrier/ JMA Wireless Dome era.
This isn’t in any way a comprehensive history of that time, but merely a look at some of the achievements of a group of athletes I was able to connect with from December 2022 to June 2023.
All too often the radiance of the present diminishes the brilliance of the past. “WHERE THEY DON’T PLAY THE GAMES ANYMORE” is an attempt to perpetuate the enduring legacy of some of Syracuse University’s finest athletes from the past.

I was at the Kansas game and you would have thought the names got transposed.Sayers was invisible and Little was a giant.I spent the whole game running along the chain link fence with Floyd's every run.The weather was also bright sunshine and warm.It was a perfect Syracuse day

16:00 I love that little park I always stop in on the walk to the Dome. Moses signaling for a first down. Persephone signaling a touchdown. Jobe bemoaned a missed extra point. And the modern art at the other corner of park shows why we missed it: that was the goal post.
