5:37 correction....that scene was just humans not shinki's. What you showed them was when he was killing people during war alongside the other god. I don't know if you got the scenes mixed up on accident or if you purposely did it. I just wanted to clear it up just in case.

okay okay lemme clear a misunderstading about waiting to happen here. No, shinki won't get "naked" in front of others to get purrified. That's what happened a lot because they were (in the anime) checking that not a single part of their bodies were infected. However, if u watched the anime you might have seen the girl with pink hair that betrayed her master? (i know she helped her in the end but still) well, the marks were on her face as well weren't they? And so lemme get this clear.
If you have sinned to much to the point you need the ritual to happen (as a shinki), you will need three shinki to create a kind of "cell" (not the right term trying to make it easy to understand for the ppl that didn't watch the anime) they have to keep you contained until you realise what you did wrong and apoligize for it. Apparently (dunno didn't find it real clear) you need to state the things you did wrong outloud. And remember if they fail, you become an ayakashi (sorry if mispelled i can't spell shit)
btw a shinki is a dead spirit that couldn't go to the afterlife. I *THINK* it was because they didn't wanna die? And a god finds them and gives them a name. They become the god's weapon. Every time a shinki sins (can be dirty thoughts to stealing and killing) their master gets hurt. If a shinki sins too much, well you saw what happened to yukine in the video didn't you? (blonde haired guy working for yato he's his shinki) if a shinki decides to be given a name by another master while still having the mark of the first one. They become what we call a "nora" the kind of shinki that are apparently not like by the gods. Because they're most likely capable of betraying their masters.
