I don't really like the noodles or the really spicy food which the Lao people love, it turns my stomach inside out. I prefer to stick with safe things especially with me traveling so much. When I go back to Laos I will make sure to try some in the future :)

I have to agree with you, Pakse was one of my favourite cities in Laos as it has everything you need in the city as well as great rides and waterfalls close by. On top of that you can take a quick flight to Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam and explore the rest of the world.
@@freshbeliefadventures I stayed for a little under 2 weeks in 2019 when visiting my school in Lavang Village, Saravane province. The food, atmosphere, and view was amazing. There are newer hotels, but those seemed too generic.
