This is my 6 or 7th time watching this over this last season. I taught this to my team of U8 and now we’re a top team in Miami Florida. It took me 2 sessions to get it through, but the semi final and final that week we played in the opponents half almost all game and won both games 4-2. Thank you for this masterclass.
We're so glad to hear that you found this clinician helpful! We're working on clinicians for our next workshop and this is super helpful in determining who we bring in and what kind of courses we have them present!
Coach @min 9:17 you correct the team on closing in on the player on the right side or left side either or. But you have them close down the side the out of bounds line would be. Wouldn’t you want you defender using his body orientation to pressure player out towards the sideline and eliminating more options and still have the coverage behind and the balance would anticipate any interception??
I feel like the balance part of the pressure cover balance is up to coach tactics and preference.. personally, Ive always been coached to be on the same line as the cover player, while other coaches wanted me to be a bit more diagonal to the cover player...
@@Chezburgerz359 my exposure to football started in the 90s watching hours of Argentinean and Brazilian football many hours per week. I played football everyday of my life as a child. Tell me about yours?

Is all about modern football and hope to teach it. Thanks! Maestro
I can second your comment. It happens the same to my team as far away in New Zealand!

Not sure telling your forwards that they need to have a "lazy mentality" is the correct way...
Absolutely shocking coaching....not a clue
Wow, why do you say that?
Messi never did any of this bullshit. 😂
Well obviously… he’s an offender. Not a defender. Do you even know how futball formations and positions work???
Your only exposure to futball is probably Ronaldo and Messi lol
