I love the design of this park. Living in America our parks are spread out over a large amount of land while always being outside. The use of the space offered is amazing! A great park where the slides look really fun without having to be the biggest or the fastest. The emphasis on enjoyment and fun are way bigger selling points to me vs. anything with extreme preceding the name of the slide.
It's really simple. We dont have much land to spread out on here. We're in a very tiny country! Also, this park is in the middle of the city. It has to be build like this. And most of the parks are indoors so they can be enjoyed all year long. Since we have lots and lots of rainy days! Most of the parks have outside portions that are open on the hot days.
We do have a good amount of indoor water parks in the US. The largest one is in Wisconsin. We have like four Great Woof Lodges with large indoor water parks. The largest one in the US is in Wisconsin Dells. There are like four around there . We have indoor water parks on the east coast . You just have to research and ask around .
Moonlight and starlight were my favourite water slides because I kept thinking I was in Star Wars when the little lights came on on the moonlight one! EPIC

Am Ithe only one who gets sooo much anxiety just watching this especially since I dont like going down a dark slide with lights or anything bc I just feel like if u get stuck in one of those u cant see how to get out or no one else can see u, but if ur in a clear one someone might notice ur stuck. I was almost too chicken on the first one, as it’s vertical, and the other ones I attempted and did, I didn’t do the plug hole one, as I was too short (sad times) or the other vertical one, but did all the rest.
The scare is only at the start.. Then u ll feel the thrill of it.. My then bf now fiance was scared of slides.. He just enjoys the wave pool 😂after lot of forcing to get into a small slide he became confident n now he motivates me when I chicken out on large slides 😂yes the scary part is the first time then u feel the thrill😅
I'm a midget and don't know how to swim so when my family goes to these types of things I just watch.The only ones I can do are the ones without the pool part unless it's shallow water but that's really it lol😂. Have an AMAZING day and night!!!!
Most slides in Duinrell and many other waterparks end in 20-30cm deep water, so you don't have to be able to swim. Just check the slide exit before you go down and pick one with shallow water. If you are nervous have family member go first and wait at the exit, ready to help.
12:27 in the 90's those two slides didn't have traffic lights and riding was unregulated so we used to pile in 15 people at a time on school trips. Then someone would slow down or stop half way and trigger a massive crash or we'd race / brawl to get past each other on the way down. Finally everyone would exit into the pool in a tangled mess. It was awesome. I miss the 90s.
i go here a lot and it is actually the best place on earth. the life guards are super nice and the wave pool happens every 15 minutes and the waves are really big
This is nuts. The whole time watching I'm like "yo this is if the dream pools (poolrooms) were real and lively!!" Truly a remarkable design for the park and had been maintained and clean for so long!! The slides look really well designed and structured... And fast 😆 what a thrill!! To add to this, the waterparks in the US have had many accidents and injuries and deaths.. the structures of them have been faulty and poorly built.. (not to say that all of them are dangerous of course, the parks I've been to have been really safe and great.)this park seems to have everything right. Go Netherlands!! ✨✨

I remember coming to this park every year in autumn when i was younger, its really fun there! The aquapark has to be a highlight, but also the attractions outside of it are nice.
Is anyone else gonna mention how NICE this place looks… like halfway through the video you can see the flooring around all the entrances to the slides and it’s like tile… we literally walk up old soggy wooden stairs or concrete in America LMAO

I remember this park! I went with my dad when I was eight, over a decade ago. He's always been a bit of a thrill-seeker, and convinced me to try a lot of the scarier slides with him. I went on Flits and Blits, and loved every second of it. I also now realise why that Dutch lifeguard was shouting at us when I came down for the second time - I was probably too short for both rides. Oh, there’s plenty of lifeguards. You just don’t notice them. Plus, there’s camera’s at some places to ensure the safety of the people.
