    Reminder for myself: you are on row 9.
    Edit: Made this for my boyfriend for Valentines day, he loved it. It wasn't as big (due to yarn choice) but the pattern was easy to follow and my project came out beautifully. Thank you!!

    Good heavens - I'm pretty new to crochet at 69 (never too late) and have just made the most lovely pillow! Your instructions were so clear and easy to follow. I'm stunned that I managed to keep the correct counts because that usually defeats me. I made a blood red heart for a husband on his way home from being out of the country during Valentine's Day and he is going to LOVE it! Thank you again.

    I was so happy to find your tutorial. I have been crocheting off and on for probably 50 years, but I've never tried amigurumi until just recently. I've made some different things, but I really wanted to master the heart. I tried several videos and was so frustrated because none of them, imo, were really that complete..... but then I found yours. I can honestly say this is the best tutorial I've seen thus far and I have watched several. I appreciate you using such great camera shots and showing clearly where each row should begin and being so detailed. It is truly appeciated. I can't wait to see more of your tutorials. Thank you very much. I can't see where I can post a picture of the heart I made, but it turned out perfectly, and is basically the same color as yours. Yay! Thanks again!

      Hi! You can SC 4 and slip stitch to the first SC. That will make a circle for you, just like the magic ring. Then you just follow along with th3 pattern. You will do your sc's inside that circle. I hope that helps! Here is a longer video for the Magic Circle that should be helpful as well if you want to try that 🥰

      @nghuichoo6019 hi! It will, but the heart will be large and the two top portions will be most likely be too small for the rest of it. I do have a tutorial for a larger heart if you'd like to make that one instead. ruclips.net/video/dsh0g1YWYaw/видео.html

    Your magic circle isn’t tightening because ur not crocheting through it correct. You should be doing ur single crochets over the 2 threads not the one. I work with this bulky yarn all the time and magic circles tighten up real easy.

    This is exactly what i was looking for , for the top of the lovey im making. But i have a question, is there a way to go from the bottom up using increases instead of decreases the whole way? Anytime i do amigurumi my decreasing looks horrible and gapped, even with inv dec. im always glad its near the bottom thats hidden, but with all the heart patterns ive seen, the whole thing is decreased. Is there a way to reverse it?

    • @creationsmisfit
      @creationsmisfit  Год назад

      Hi! Hmmm... I suppose you could do the pattern in reverse and increase instead of decrease, but I'm really not sure how that would come out. Especially because the two humps on top would be way different going from bottom up. Have you done decreases with this big blanket yarn? It's much more forgiving than a normal size yarn. I tend to have small gaps as well with amigurumi with size 4 or 3 yarn because I crochet a bit loosely. Also, I see a lot of people who yarn under instead of yarn over for amigurumi and their stitches are wayyy tighter. So that may be something to consider as well!
