I cannot thank you enough for the lessons you have provided. I started playing bass at age 59, having been a drummer in my younger days. The desire to play bass goes back to my childhood days when looking at bass guitars in the Christmas catalogs. I was researching and digesting everything I could find, but the cost of a teacher was not in my budget however. Finding your website was a dream come true, and the progress I have made over the past three years is beyond belief. You present your material in an easy to understand format and have made my advancement fun and educational. I'm not looking to be a music star, but at my age I have the time to devote to my learning, and I love every minute of it. You have been quite an inspiration, and just want to communicate the impact you have had on my growth. At times I even surprise myself with the abilities I have mastered. You have been an important part of this and I am forever grateful.

First of all, thank you for the wonderful lessons. I am finding that my pull off notes has no volume.. How to add strength to my fingers?

Whenever I play hammer-ons at the lower notes, there's a lot of fret buzz (while shifting notes). There's not much buzz if I pluck the notes though.
Is it my action that's causing the buzzing during hammer-ons?

That means that you might just have to change your right hand technique
