Thank you for this tutorial. Would you mind writing out the order of operation for sewing?

Hello! I actually made three videos with the sewing order for Instagram at the time- I should probably put that in the description- sorry! Here you go: instagram.com/tv/B9JapJEldMJ/?

Fab tuition. How do you draft a large peterpan collar that stands up by 1” all the way around on a boat neck and cross over slightly at the front . I’m struggling to make the front stand up correctly. 🤗

      Hi Wendy,
      thank you!
Do you mean the style quite similar to what Jackie Kennedy used to wear?
If it's too floppy, you might want to take out some more volume from all around the front neck. Like the slash and spread method, but the other way round if that makes sense.
If it's just not standing up, it might need more interfacing.

That was wonderful, Charlotta, I must admit that I will have to watch it a few times before I attempt to draft it for myself. Your instructions are very clear. I believe when I actually get ruler and pencil in hand it will totally be a success..I love love love this neckline/collar combination..Thank you so much for giving us so much food for thought as well as inspiration.

I’m sure your version will be beautiful too and that’s the great thing about RUclips- the pause button.

Lovely! How would you see your facing at center front if there is no seam allowance there at the center front?

Thank you! You can stitch it to a point, like for a key hole. I made a full stitching guide at the time, it’s here on instagram: instagram.com/charlotta_patterncuttingschool/guide/vintage-shawl-collar-top-sewing-guide/17961714976822557/?igshid=MzY1NDJmNzMyNQ==
