    Wow that was hot! My Bradt Guidebook to Tunisia will be published in June 2023, and include a detailed map of Tunis Medina, with recommendations for a walking tour if you want to re-trace Mohammed and I's steps. In the mean time, please join my Facebook page to keep up to date on publication and book tour announcements: facebook.com/BradtTunisia

    Seems like this has some of what I was looking for in my reddit post ( I was asking for a tour of a medina home ), did you purposefuly speed up the editing process or was this all a happy coincidence, great video either way!

      This was all a happy coincidence! I have a huge backlog of footage and need to get it all online before my Bradt guidebook is published this summer. Have been very busy with other projects up until now (like kayaking Madagascar's Mangoky River!) Glad you enjoyed the video.

    Excellent video and information brother. Local markets are the ultimate way to be engrossed in local culture outside of spending time with locals in their homes. I love to see like-minded people teaching and adventuring on the Tube. Subed to see more. We are excited, as a father-son team of Anthropologists to be doing a World tour of 390 UNESCO World Heritage sites including this one soon. Cheers and thanks for sharing your footage of this amazing place. I hope you consider sending us any recommendations you have and let us know if you want to link up for possible future collabs. Cheers! - Turtle and Bear

    Thank You For The Amazing Video! But What About Going To Nabeul And Hammamet in Tunisia? These 2 Places Are Really Amazing!

    • @ScafidiTravels
      @ScafidiTravels  Год назад +2

      They are indeed! All my videos on the channel are in playlists divided by governorate, so be sure to check out the Nabeul playlist to see what I already have there. More videos coming soon!

    Seems like this video has more interaction with locals than usual, which is something I won't say no to!

    • @ScafidiTravels
      @ScafidiTravels  Год назад

      Yes, this has been one of the frustrating features of all this research and filming during the pandemic: much harder to have natural interactions with people when you are mainly in non-crowded outdoor settings and wearing a mask!

    The medina looks nice.
    Great video as usual 👍
    Even locals could easily get lots in it 😂😂😂
    It’s so big.
    I’m not sure if it’s the biggest in the Maghreb region or Fez is 🇲🇦

      I would definitely have become lost if I didn't have Mohamed to guide me! Because of the narrow streets GPS doesn't work very well either!
