Daesung and Taeyang's emotional, loud voices express their frustration towards the breakup. Simply put, this song makes me feel a range of emotions in four minutes. It's far better when you listen to it at night in your bed... It's not the kind to make you cry but it just really brings out the mellowness really well. It's a masterpiece.

I do not understand the language and the vast majority of S. Korean music videos had no subtitles in American until about 2018. I got hooked on Kpop in 2008. I am over 70. Lots of American sad songs were not, and are not, sung sad. It is the lyrics that get you and maybe the MVs. But not how the song was sung. I didn’t realize the difference until Big Bang started breaking my heart.

love his voice in 'I believe' duet with May J and 'In my world' from his 1st solo album. Before I listened to these I have no clue that he could actually sings. What a waste of talent. this is a perfect example of kpop groups and having different singers can work so incredibly well to their advantage. I love all the covers of this song but nothing can beat the original. every member plays a unique part that no one can replicate with one voice. top starting off the song low and husky, seungri bringing in the high softer tone, taeyang with his melodic clear voice, daesung belting with volume and strength and then gd being emotionally imperfect throughout makes this one of their best songs to showcase what and who bigbang is.
you can tell how their own colors are so distinct from other artists in the way they all sing differently. there's really no group that is like bigbang. truly the kings.
I first heard this song in 2015 and cried I didn't even know why. I haven't heard it in 5 YEARS and I didn't even know the language I just searched If You. I've been learning Korean for 6 months now and I'm a Kdrama addict finding out this song is in Korean means this is probably when I first fell in love with the language.
BTS love BigBang, they respect them so much (especially the maknae line huhu) and I hope you will don't hate BTS because of the ARMYs who say that Jungkook's version is better than BigBang's version etc.. this is a perfect example of kpop groups and having different singers can work so incredibly well to their advantage. I love all the covers of this song but nothing can beat the original. every member plays a unique part that no one can replicate with one voice. top starting off the song low and husky, seungri bringing in the high softer tone, taeyang with his melodic clear voice, daesung belting with volume and strength and then gd being emotionally imperfect throughout makes this one of their best songs to showcase what and who bigbang is.
