It is just unbelieveable how many players are playing Elbing as a torp boat. And also how many players go full boradside in a Vladivostok. Bow tanking Vlad is unpenetrable fortress but they just don't care. This community will never cease to amaze me in a negative way.
I feel like those players are either 11 yrs old or a 40+ yr old who just got off work and has a thing for boats and games. Both lack any awareness or understanding for the game. And then the small community around this and alike channels makes up a very small portion of the player base… thus we think people should be smarter because those around these channels often probably are better than most. Thus, we forget about 85%+ of the players that aren’t around us….
This one is essentially the same ship as Iwami, but with a slightly different mix of armor vs. guns. It has colossal throw weight, but gives up a bit of armor and some gun handling to get it. Also, no torps and somewhat worse AA. The thing I like best about Iwami is it's a very responsive ship. This one seems more of a plodder, but when it hits, you're going to feel it. Edit on the armor distribution: that front gap is where the A barbette is. Sometimes you have to cycle through the various armor subsets to get a good idea of how the armor is arranged. It does have a similar issue as Yamato with the A barbette being your transverse bulkhead closing off the citadel.
Seems nice, an upgunned Iwami without the torps, i always like to see some A-150 or else designs in the game, clearly more historical paper ships than Russian ones, as well as the fact that we can find the design prior to Yamato quite easly Btw people tend to forget that Iwami got absolutly magical turret angles, and Hizen seems to have the same, a good player can be really hard to sink in these ships
How’d you like the Vallejo? I personally found it to be a tad undercooked with the lack of DPM and utility. Not to mention the heal is borderline useless.
Too me, this Bodybuilding Nagato seems to be the most interesting. I am even considering to rent it and maybe finally buying Collingwood, to help with the Halland Bureau. Seems like the T8 IJN BB we needed and never got. Wish we got this one instead of Iwami or even Musashi. GG.
The fact that people grinded out 1.4 million gxp to buy perhaps the best cruiser without a citadel, and to use it as a torp boat just absolutely mystifies me. Nice review, like I said, IJN kansas with big guns.

Why is it when I sail my shima straight to the center of the map and smoke up that I am always shot by a Des Moines. Wtf they must be hacking cause you can’t see me in smoke i though? Plz help lmfao.
Will it really get nerfed though or will people just not play it properly and say it's your fault? I know damn well if I rent this I would perform horribly with my whole 20 something battles in a BB experience level. And that's why I'm not renting anything. 😂
The Japanese high tier bbs love having 155mm secondaries so they can "man up" and get torpedoed by either the dd in the cap or the german bc who saw an opportunity

I don't know you hizen seems to work well but i never on t7-8 match i always against 7 legendaries ships and against leg i found hizen are not really good

I love my elbing and have never put any upgrades/skills into the torps, they're good for zoning but they're slow. Full ap build only for me.
