  • Hey everyone and thanks for tuning in to this video about the soon-to-be released ‘MuseScore 4’.
    Be Your Own Muse.
MuseScore 4 is a fresh environment that is designed to enhance the composition/writing process. It is not only a tool to input notes for music you have already written, but a platform that allows inspiration to flow.
The goal of this video is to create three brand-new orchestral arrangements from a basic melody. I wanted to create new ideas from the same source material to push my creative boundaries and to find inspiration.
Watch the video to see if I was able to compose three individual arrangements inspired by the workflow of MuseScore 4 and my own creativity in a short space of time.

For in The future, you can use two violin sections so you don’t need to use the viola’s to play so high. That’s normale

Indeed, violin 1 and violin 2 are standard orchestra sections. Viola's are your tenor voice and cellos are your base voice. Contrabasses often mirror the cellos (an octave lower)

Just downloaded this a while ago. Came on YT to see some reviews. Looks like I jumped on this at just the right time, sounds awesome for a free software.

This is great - I've been using finale and note performer for years but definitely going to try out musescore 4 when it's available. The sounds are pretty decent! Great composition too, works well as a showcase for the software. :)

MuseScore 4 is already available and I have to say after using finale for so long this has lots of potential and may even be the industry leader soon

Congratulations for the video , i have some enquires:
1.- Do you know if The library is taken from real instruments or they are synthetized ?
2.- How can you manage the articulations with other libraries like KONTACK , are there some customs rules ? , sorry i have never used this software.
    3. In the library do you have solo strings
4,. Are you able to put 2 or more instruments layers in counterpoint in the same stave each one with any articulation?, and so on ...

I hope they add automation tracks somehow so that you can control the VSTs. I'm not sure how that would fluidly integrate into notation software, but if anyone could figure it out it would probably be Tantacrul.
