FQG Y10 Helmet Headset with RGB! Unboxing and Demo

- Well check this out! I found yet another budget helmet bluetooth system, but this time with RGB! That's right, you can extend your gamer aesthetic to your helmet! This unit will set you back around $25, and although it can't pair with other units, it has surprisingly good sound quality!
Join me while I unpack and demonstrate this budget Bluetooth system.
I figured out why some people are trying to connect this to a second unit.
The unit in this video is an FQG Y10, the same brand has another unit called FQG Y10 2X.
If you have a 2X model, you can connect to another unit. If you do not have a 2X model it is a single connection to your phone only.
Unironically high quality stuff compared to the price. I was looking for something to play music that doesn't hurt my ears like earbuds do(they fall off, they hurt my ears when taking off the helmet,etc), this one proved to be very good and cheap as well. The only complain i have is that i can't change it from Chinese to English(it simply doesn't work, even though i did what the manual said), though it's only a minor inconvenience:)
The cheapest good alternative for my Scorpion helmet would be an Exo-com, which is about 200$, more than 10 times the price this little thing cost me.
Unboxing and demo. It was too much to hope for that installation (the important bit that is required in order to get to the demo part) would be included.
@@BelfastBiker installation will vary slightly from helmet to helmet, but it's basically the same.
Remove pads in helmet.
Stick on Velcro to ear spots.
Position speakers and microphone where you'd want them.
Mount intercom unit to side of the helmet with bracket or adhesive.
Reinstall helmet pads.
Once I retire my main helmet, I may add an install video, but there are countless install videos and I think that would just add "fat" to the video.

@@Nauarxidakis98 yes and sound is clear and nice. Working till 15m with no issue. Classics Bluetooth connection...
Can you please explain how can you connect 2 units together. Because I can’t figure out how to connect them..
@@Nauarxidakis98 it is in manual, also you have to start intercom so have to push middle button, laft is volume up , right is volume down and middle is intercom.
So I have to press simultaneously the middle button of the 2 units and they are going to connect each other?

I have a question , If I'm connected to my phone to receive driving instruction to destination, Can I answer an incoming call from same phone, then switch back to driving app after a phone call. If they can do this , that is all I need from them. Plus can I make an outgoing phone call from my helmet ? Thanks !

This one doesn't claim to have intercom capabilities. This is supposed to be a bluetooth only.

This device is a scam 🤬 it doesn't even allow you to connect to another device
It's not a scam. When I purchased this unit, the listing didn't claim it connected to another intercom. It was less than $20, I think it's worth it at that price point.
But I did find an app called Walkietooth that allows your phones to connect to each other instead of the headset directly.
