The beauty of The Cure was that they could be silly and whimsical and incredibly cheerful too. They are truly beautiful in every way.

Hello, Cold is one of my favourite Cure song too (Beautifull dark lyrics and music…) and Lament, Faith, the Exploding Boy, Splintered in her Head... Your love for The Cure is so cool ! I started listening to the Cure in 1985, I was 13. I saw them in 1989 in Brest (France), one of my best concert ever. I saw them for the Kiss me tour too… I was New Wave and become Goth in the 90s. Now i'm still dressed in Black, but not only… But I'm still listening to the Cure, Virgin Prunes, Siouxsie, Christian Death, Minimal Compact, Death in June, Joy Division… and so many great bands... Great video !

Nothing but love for The Cure. They would always be in my playlists back in high school, In fact, I even had a math teacher one year who loved them just as much as I did which made math a whole lot less boring. Disintegration is definitely one of my favorite albums of all time but yeah I truly doubt I would be the person I am today without The Cure :))

yeah i had a teacher or two through college years that loved the cure as well! we chatted more about the cure than the actual lesson lol but it was so nice to bond with people from that generation that grew up with the cure and also appreciated them :)

This is so lovely Snowy. I only just saw them last night at the Sydney Opera House playing Disintegration in its entirety for the 30th anniversary plus some special extras and it was just magical. It's very special that their music has reached so many people over so many years and it was so nice hearing somebody recall that feeling of discovering something truly special and life changing.

Oh my God I cannot believe how similar our experience falling in love with The Cure is! It warms my heart to know that there's another girl out there who loved them so much like I do (I hope that makes sense) at a youngish age when Robert was fifty. That comment you made hit home... My locker at school was just pictures of Robert as was my bedroom.. I found so many friends who loved the Cure online (MySpace thank God for MySpace) that I'm still connected to on social media today. It's really incredible how The Cure brings people together. I just LOVED seeing your collection of Cure stuff ♥️ Your favorite songs are some of mine too! One Hundred Years and Cold are marvelous. And yes! Snow in Summer is under-rated and lovely. Want is an incredible opener it's so powerful. I am sorry I'm rambling so much but no lie I'm so so happy you made this video. The part where you are talking about your favorite lyrics made me tear up. And too when you wrapped up the video.. The Cure have made me feel exactly as you said. Again I'm so sorry I rambled and got all sappy, but this video was so wonderful thanks for making it 💕💕💕

I can totally relate to your video, it's ace. I became a Cure fan in 1985, and although I then bought and loved everything they had previously released, Disintegration is and always will be my favorite album. Can play a lot of their songs on my electric guitar....which is awesome. My first Cure concert was in 1989....The Prayer Tour......Still have all of the t-shirts,
program, poster and badge. It was great to see the Disintegration Live stream on Thursday morning. I love nearly all of their songs but picking a few would be...Sinking, Cold, The Drowning Man, Untitled, Snow In Summer, At Night, All Cats Are Grey, The Last Day Of Summer, Pictures Of You, One Hundred Years, The Bird Mad Girl, The Top, 2 Late and Out Of Mind. Anyway, thank you, keep up the videos, it's been a pleasure.

I used to hate the cure when I was in middle because they didn't sounded like anything screamo, that's literally what I thought when I first saw their faces. That they would be an emo band shouting and screaming random shit which is what used to satisfy me back then. However, 7 years later which is now 😐 I love the cure so much that I hate myself for giving them up so easily during middle school!!! I could've gone to so many concerts during those years and now I'm desperately waiting to go see them at ACL this year!!!
Ever since you got back into RUclips and mention how you will be doing the cure videos, I sincerely couldn't wait for you upload!!! And here it is your love to the cure 😍
Now as a huge cure fan, this video felt so short and rushed 😭 and it seemed that you couldn't express yourself much all because your worried about your subscribers (well that's what I think, sorry if I'm wrong) I really wish you went into more into detail than the details you've provided because I know how expressive cure fans are !
I hope you do more cure videos in the future and a vlog if you ever do go to California, thank you for sharing~

Let me just say I LOVE THIS VIDEO Snowy. This was brilliant. I could relate to every single bit, and also discovered them at age 12 although for me that was 1989. Even then, I felt sad that I wasn't a fan in the early 80s when I was a little kid. It makes me so happy that you discovered them so many years down the road.

Cure, Banshees & Cocteau Twins are my top three favorite bands! Seventeen Seconds & Faith are my favorite Cure albums but I really love all their stuff. I first discovered The Cure in 1990 with their remixed music video version for Close to Me on MTV's glorious show 120 Minutes. Japanese Whispers is awesome btw! I love how Sioux wails in the background on the b-side I'm Cold - you can hear her best in the end! Primary has always been my dad's favorite. Along with The Funeral Party I've really grown to adore: The Drowning Man, All Cats Are Grey and Sinking these past five years. Hope you pick up Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me - the atmosphere on that one is outstanding! Well wishes and greetings from Iowa.

The Apollo 30th anniversary of The Top shows! Made it to one of them, still can't believe I watched Roger play The Caterpillar note perfect. Was also amazed at the age range there too.
I'm gonna throw Watching Me Fall and There Is No If into the mix here. I love the early stuff as well, but the last few albums have so much torment and turmoil bubbling away, they're delicious!

The Cure is my favorite band and I was 12 when I first started listening to them as well. However that was in the late 80's but I can still relate completely! My friends were all listening to New Kids on the Block and MC Hammer and tried to tell me The Cure were just depressing and "you can't dance to them." Bullshit. I love dancing to The Cure. Come on 100 Years and Disintegration just to name a couple! Totally get me moving. Anyhow you are absolutely lovely and you have a new subscriber now. 🙂 Thank you for making this video. I am thirteen years old and certainly The Ture are my favorite group and I am sure they will be for a long time, with pornography as one of my favorite records as well as being my inspiration, what I want to do with my life, and The Ture have made me see many things about me and so endure many others, the cure is for me something very special, that made me decide for the Gothic style, although it is something that has to wait for a lot, I will be here for The Cure!

Yeah I fell in love with the cures sound and I'm a bit of a fan, my favourite albums where disintegration Ofcourse and head on the door, faith & seventeen seconds ar a part 1 and 2 album. I love Japanese whispers and stairing at the sea. I love Robert Smith. If you like the cure you'll love bands like the Smith's, echo & the bunny men, the sound, siouxsie and the banshees. Joy division, nine inche nails, there just bands you'll love if your a fan of the cure. The cure have to be one of the best bands of the 80s & of all time. You really should check the bands out. But yeah the cure ar a beautiful slightly dark body of work that never gets old no matter how many times you listen to them. Good review by the way I agree with most of it, don't forget to do the recommendations. The best thing is that you have a great and very cultured taste in music, nice your treating your soul well with music like this.

I heard Cloudberry the first time and then I heard Robert’s voice so I rewatched. Primary is an exemplary song of early Cure and a worthy addition to Faith which I feel people throw too much shade on because it is the perfect transition between Seventeen Seconds and Pornography. I also love one of the themes of Faith being literary works contorted into brooding post punk like in The Drowning Man and Charlotte Sometimes. Snow in Summer is excellent song and I can’t believe that brilliant songs are just relegated to b-side or worse as in the case of Strum or the Lost Wishes tapes.
